Relax with the whole family at this cozy 2 bedroom home. Everything you need for a peaceful getaway is provided. Kid friendly with a fenced back yard and quiet neighbors. Small breed dogs allowed - please check with us for larger breeds before booking. Sleeping accommodations include: Queen bed, Twin/Full bunk bed, Rollaway bed, a couch, a queen size air mattress, and a futon. Some things to do nearby are: Live theater performances at the Elgin Opera House. Check out what’s coming at: elginoperahouse.com. Take a ride on the Eagle Cap Excursion Train! If your into history, take a visit to the Elgin Museum in our little downtown. Open Thursday - Saturday 10 am - 4 pm. Want an adrenaline rush? If relaxation is what you have in mind, the home is located a short 29 minute drive from our local Hot Lake Resort and soaking tubs! Showtimes and ticket prices can be found at: www.lagrandemovies.com We also have a seasonal drive-in theater (19 miles from the house) gates open at 9 pm and movies start at dusk. The lake is beautiful with a wrap around walking path to enjoy the scenery. We have a fishing hole named Roulet Pond that is stocked every so often. It’s quiet and only a 4 mile drive from the house! Boating, fishing, hiking, and more can be done at Wallowa Lake (39 miles from the house). Take a packed lunch and enjoy the outdoors at one of their many picnic tables. We have new amenities! During summer months you will also have access to our community swimming pool free of charge to you (0.3 miles from the house) - a pool schedule will be located in the guidebook inside the home! Need to get a workout in? The Blue Mountain Getaway has a membership for our guests at the local Olympis Fitness Gym (0.3 miles from the house). Just fill out the gyms waiver, swipe the card, and get your blood pumping!
