What a dump. All standard rooms had no air conditioning. The noise in the evening was unbearable and lasted until 11pm. My shower faucet which allowed me to turn on the shower was not existent. I complained and was promised that it would be fixed but it was not. While the staff was friendly - that is not good enough. You should get what you paid for. I will never stay in this hotel again.

I have been to several hotels both for pleasure and business; but at BOMA INN Eldoret, I left there wishing I'd get the same feeling I received from them. A special mention to below for making it a stay worth remembering. James - Receptionist Rodgers - Best Bartender Mercy Kimeu - Ever so bubbly waitress Dorcas - Very intentional in her service.. Waitress Faith - Very soft spoken and caring..waitress Brian - Always quick on his feet..waiter Moses- Always greets you with a smile as he prepares the best pancakes for you - Chef Laban - The assistant head chef that leaves his station to come and check on how your liking the food Alice - Polite and sincerely interested in serving you..waitress Geoffrey - Humble and you can really see his readiness to serve you Gideon - Talk of a leader that leads from the front; constantly checking in and always seeking feedback... supervisor These are all humans that made my stay a worthwhile one!

Overall, my experience at the hotel was positive. The peaceful surroundings made for a relaxing stay, and the spacious rooms provided ample space to unwind. The staff, particularly the receptionists, were warm and welcoming, creating a friendly atmosphere from the moment I arrived. Boniface, the housekeeper, went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable, always ready to assist with any requests I had. One aspect that could use improvement is the bathroom. It was evident that it was in need of a major renovation, especially the wall shower. The outdated fixtures and worn-out tiles detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, the lack of air conditioning was a downside, especially during hotter days. However, the hotel did make an effort to alleviate this issue by providing a fan, which helped to some extent. The breakfast offered at the hotel was satisfactory, although there was one incident that left a sour taste in my mouth. When I requested a double espresso, I was asked for my room number, which seemed unnecessary and slightly discriminatory. It was disheartening to learn that none of the other guests were subjected to this requirement. In my opinion, everyone should be treated equally, regardless of their beverage preferences. This incident did mar an otherwise pleasant dining experience. Despite these minor drawbacks, the positives of the hotel outweighed the negatives. The tranquil environment, spacious rooms, and friendly staff, particularly Boniface, made my stay enjoyable. While improvements to the bathroom and the inclusion of air conditioning would enhance the overall experience, I would still recommend this hotel for those seeking a peaceful and welcoming retreat.

I stayed at the Boma Inn for six nights in December. Overall, I had a good experience. All of the staff were great and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and hot items varied by day. The spa is small and a bit noisy because of the proximity to the gym but worth going to, if you're staying multiple nights. Laundry service was affordable with same-day return. I took a star off because I had serious internet connectivity issues during my entire stay. This made it difficult to get work done, and despite many calls to reception and attempts by their IT person to fix it, the issue wasn't reliably resolved. Also, the bathroom was small/cramped and the temperature in the shower fluctuated quite a bit, making for uncomfortable showers. I would reconsider the Boma Inn on my next visit to Eldoret if there were evidence of improvements in these aspects.

It's almost fine but only a shower system which I control water hot or cold was worst. My wife almost got burned.

The food is excellent, service is fantastic, rooms are comfy, I also enjoyed my graduation party and will refer my friends here whenever they are a party or event in Eldoret everything is very awesome generally, many thanks to Gideon Kibet, Peris & Calvine

That’s how the current lonely planet describes Boma Inn ( a new edition is apparently to be published in Nov) . I agree with this, I can’t see any other hotel getting close. Everything to a very high standard, and bigger than I expected. Wonderful design. Staff super, food super , lovely pool, I’ve got nothing other than compliments. It is more expensive than other hotels we looked at online, but it is superb value. The bar had European football and the Rugby World Cup on. Nothing to do with the hotel, whilst Bolt worked well on arrival at the airport, - roughly 800ksi per the app so 1000ksi which is £6 -it appeared to be that if ordered using the app in the hotel the drivers would accept the request then phone to tell you that it would be double the cost if you wished them to undertake the trip. . Avoid the problem by using the local taxi drivers parked outside the hotel. They were very fair. If you ask them to wait they are more than happy to do so.

I have not been back in Eldoret for several years and it was good to return to the Boma. The check in process was smoothly executed with a professional and friendly team. It was also a lovely stay my room was well equipped cleaned and nestled quietly on first floor. Really appreciated the pool, gym, sauna and steam… since it’s slightly small peak time gets busy but its lovely all the same. We caught the live music playing on Sunday which was really lovely… great golden oldies was much appreciated by those of us who are gen X. The restaurant was lovely. I enjoyed breakfast but I must say there was very little deviation from the buffet spread each day so a little variation would be nice. Thank you to the team. The hotel has still maintained a very good standard over the years. I love the area as well quiet and away from noisy city bustling. Its definitely a home away from home and recommend it to anyone who values a quiet calm stay while in Eldoret.
