르 메르디앙 라 비치 호텔 & 스파(Le Méridien Ra Beach Hotel & Spa)

Wir waren 2019 das erste mal da und wir waren begeistert! Leider war 2022 alles anderes! Wir hatten eine Suite die wirklich toll war, aber diese haben wir nur gebucht, da die Zimmer alle ausgebucht waren (bereits 9 Monate vor Anreise). Als wir dann vor Ort waren wussten wir auch warum, denn wir waren 6 Nächte da und in der Zeit waren 3 „Großveranstaltung „ in Form von Firmenfeiern etc.! Aus diesem Grund waren dann jeden Tag Teile vom Strand gesperrt und und an 3 Abenden war eins der zwei Restaurants geschlossen (da die Firmen ja extra Buffet hatten). Aber was es noch unsympathischer gemacht hat, war die Geschichte mit den Bändchen. Dann zahlt man schon über 400€ die Nacht und muss noch zusätzlich ein Paket dazu buchen, um besseres WLAN zu bekommen, bessere Plätze am Strand etc.! Zusätzlich konnte man dann auch noch andere Pakete buchen (Halbpension und Vollpension) und hat nochmals andere Bändchen bekommen. Dies gab es 2019 nicht und leider stand es auch nirgendwo geschrieben, dass es noch diverser Zusatzkosten gibt. Noch ein kleines Problem am Rande war die Sprachbarriere des Personals. Das junge Personal war zwar freundlich, aber konnte zum größten Teil nicht einmal englisch. Im Restaurant war es unmöglich irgendwas zu bestellen, was nicht genau so in der Karte stand. Die Suite war sehr schön und der Pool auf der Dachterrasse sowie der Strand waren auch top. Aber das alleine war das Geld und die 5 Sterne leider nicht wert.

Chambre magnifique avec une vue imprenable. Literie super confortable, petit déjeuner varié et délicieux. Dommage pour le service qui n’est pas au niveau d’un 5 étoiles (queue pour le petit déjeuner, oubli de la boisson d’accueil, staff pas spécialement souriant, …) mais bon avec une centaine de chambres ou plus c’est pas évident. Je conseille le pack expérience qui comprend plein de plus intéressants (vélos, accès au spa, minibar, …)

Très bel hôtel, chambres très agréables Buffet en demi pension copieux mais moyen parfois. Les plats proposés ne sont pas chauds, dommage Accueil très impersonnel Une tenue à rayure pour le personnel qui fait penser à un bagne ! Pas de spin esthétique

Veldig fint hotell, med perfekt beliggenhet ved stranden. Maten på stranden var veldig god, og servicen var relativt bra.

Beautiful hotel and lovely staff. Perfect location and great food. The view is amazing. The bedroom suites are fresh and tidy. Would definitely recommend and love to return. The hotel went above and beyond during our stay, Thank you very much.

It was a business cum tourist visit. We really had a memorable stay at Le Meridien in El Vendrell. The location is simply breath taking with the Ocean in the background. The hotel has many amenities that you can truly enjoy. All the receptionists at the desk were so helpful and super friendly especially two lovely ladies, Gift & Manuela, even the manager were always ready to help & accommodated us in the best possible way. The hotel has many amenities like a beautiful spa that also has huge therapeutic whirlpool, saunas & a steam sauna. There’s also a swimming pool on the top deck. Every morning you can enjoy a huge breakfast buffet with a large variety of hot & cold beverages & foods. However, there were not much hot options for vegetarians. With vegetarians growing, I hope they start having more vegetarian options at breakfast, lunch & dinner. If you’re looking for a good break to relax, this is the place to go. If you want to try out the local cuisine & international cuisines, there are several restaurants very close to the hotel that you can dine at. I also made a suggestion to the hotel to put up a gift shop for shopping lovers. The fun & scenic train ride to Barcelona is only an hour. Terrogona is another beautiful place close by, real worth visiting. It’s only about a half hour car or train ride from El Vendrell. Overall we really enjoy our visit to El Vendrell. I highly recommend you stay at Le Meridien. It’s a fun place to be at, as a couple or a family.

I wanted to thank all the team at Le Meridien Ra and more especially Eric from Explore Spa who made the stay of my family and I exceptional. Eric is a caring, dedicated person, available and who always has a communicative smile ! We visited this resort following a very port intensive cruise that ended in Barcelona. It was the perfect place to relax before heading home. Not only was the hotel able to accommodate our early revival, we were upgraded to a duplex suite with oceanfront balcony! The beach was sandy and umbrellas and chairs were readily available. The water was still warm enough to enjoy. We spent two afternoons relaxing in the sunshine at the beach. We walked along the beach front boardwalk to Calafell (less than 10 minutes) where there were a number of casual restaurants. On our last night, we enjoyed a lovely dinner at Restaurant D.O. at Le Meridian. Beautiful ambiance and great service made this dinner a perfect ending to our vacation. The front desk staff were extremely helpful, particularly setting up an early morning taxi to the airport on a national holiday. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel and would not hesitate to return on a future trip to the Barcelona area.
