Les Chambres du Domaine

Great option if you want to stay just outside Colmar, which is somewhat over-touristed during peak months. In fact, Eguisheim is darling in its own right. Good restaurants, a nice tea room, and interesting shops--not to mention the beautiful, historic church--are all within very easy walking distance of Les Chambres. The rooms and hotel itself are quite lovely. Bringing our child with us was no problem. Wine (mostly white) for sale from the owner's vineyard is very reasonably priced. Driving through the narrow streets to get here is not easy, so I wouldn't recommend going in and out very much. Once you arrive, recommended that you leave the car in the parking spot until you check out. People glare at you when you take a car through the narrow, winding roads in Eguisheim. All in all, definitely recommended.

Our room was super modern, well equipped with a very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean, with a lovely modern bathroom. An honesty fridge with wine and beer was provided in the dining room, as was free tea and coffee. Continental breakfast was great, fresh boiled eggs if required. Fresh coffee or tea plus juices and the buffet was always topped up on request by great staff. Free parking either on site or nearby. Some steep step up to the accommodation and further steps to the rooms, but well worth it The owner and his daughter were amazingly helpful when we had to replace tyres following a puncture and even organised this to be done at their local garage. Fabulous service. All staff here are friendly and helpful. We would have no hesitation in booking again and thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay, best accommodation of our 3 week tour of Europe. Their wines are great too, the wine tasting here is a must.

Les chambres et le cadre sont magnifique. Visiblement cela a été rénové récemment avec beaucoup de goût. Merci à Cindy qui nous a préparé de bons petits déjeuners servis avec toujours le sourire. Très très belles prestations pour la chambre d’hôte au cœur d’un village assez incroyable.

Très bonne adresse pour les personnes recherchant le calme au centre d'Eguisheim. Des chambres belles, modernes et propres, équipées de tout le confort. Petit-déjeuner agréable. Base idéale pour visiter Colmar et les autres villages. L'hôtel dispose de son propre parking gratuit, indispensable si vous venez en voiture.
