We stayed here for our Silver Wedding Anniversary for 3 nights. From arriving to departure we can not fault the hotel. We stayed in a double room beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and all the little extras that make a difference. My husband had arranged for a bouquet of fkowers to be in the room when we got there, and the hotel kindly provided a bottle of champagne. Breakfast was delicious and in beautiful surroundings. Full Scottish breakfast and the eggs benedict were the best I have tasted. The staff were very friendly, informative, and courteous, from Jonathan, Peter, Tony, and the lovely Venezuelan gentleman who served breakfast in the morning to staff who kept rooms serviced to a high standard. We can not recommend this hotel enough it definitely was very special to us. Nothing was too much trouble. Unfortunately, we didn't have time for whiskey tasting, but the room has a wow factor along with the art displayed on the walls and a beautiful garden to have a drink in.

Me and my partner stayed at 24 Royal Terrace Hotel for one night and we had an amazing stay. The breakfast was great with a very large portion and all of it was delicious. All of the artwork is beautiful and unique. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have every slept on and that's with no added hyperbole whatsoever. The staff were extremely helpful, very professional and everything felt like it had a personal touch. I cannot rave about this hotel enough. If you are going to Edinburgh. You need to stay at this hotel!

This is a review about Tony’s Whisky tasting. We stayed at 24 Royal Terrace and loved everything about our stay. We had booked a tasting for my husband but Tony encouraged me to participate also. Tony is so knowledgeable about all the different whisky regions and the different whisky’s. He made the tasting so much fun and I discovered I liked whisky! We loved visiting with him about Scotland also. Everyone at the hotel was so kind and welcoming and our tasting capped off a wonderful stay. We highly recommend 24 Royal Terrace and Tony’s Tasting.

Lovely staff who made me feel very welcome and went out of their way to make my stay great. Decided to add breakfast to my stay on arrival, pleased I did! There was a great choice and quality was excellent. Room had a lovely view over the gardens, hotel has a good atmosphere with its art an interesting feature. Whiskey room is cozy and offers a very wide selection.

Beautifully decorated boutique hotel in a great location for exploring, ideally placed for walking or using the trams or buses. We booked a standard room, which although was cozy compared to others was perfect for us and still offered all the same luxuries in ways of hairdryer, teas, coffee and bottled water and lovely smelling bathroom accessories. After a long day walking around, it was a lovely return to be met with homemade mince pies at reception, a lovely hot shower and the comfiest bed and pillows.
