Run down. No toilet paper in the room. Missing light bulbs. Pool and hot tub were nonfunctional and looked like it had been that way for a long time. No breakfast. Electric sockets hanging out from walls. Water didn’t drain from tub…the entire place smelled of smoke…I could go on. Do not be deceived by outdated pictures.

The pool had algae in it. There was seamen on the sheets There were cigarette burn holes on the sheets & floor. I walked out & found a better place. Unfortunately I can’t get a refund. I recommend ******* drop this place

The owner was kind and helpful, however many things did not work or were not even present.

Tweaker hub, beware and stay out. Rooms are not clean, cigarette burns in furniture and to many chemicals used on everything. This place was supposed to be condemned two months before we stayed. I can’t believe we payed almost $70 for this dump to only walk out 5 minutes in. DO NOT STAY HERE

Wow! We should have read the many, many one-star reviews, but that's on us. This is the worst experience we have ever had in a hotel. We will likely never stay at a Regency Inn ever again because of the lack of standards that they have, or don't have. I don't even know how they could get a legal occupancy permit to run this hotel as is. We reserved the room online while driving at night toward Eau Claire. Two queen beds, continental breakfast - a quick in and out for a place to stay. We figured since we only needed a place to sleep for the night, a lower priced hotel would be fine. It's better than camping. Except in this case, maybe not! Arriving at 9:30pm, we were told that they didn't think there were any rooms available for us, despite our reservation. Weird, there were only about 10 cars in the parking lot which could easily accommodate 75 or more. But scrolling through the info on her computer, she did find a room for us. It was on the 1st floor, accessed by walking through the indoor pool area (no outside access). Works fine for us. We just needed a place to sleep while passing through Eau Claire. What happened next was an amazing combination of troubling issues. 1. The pool was permanently closed. The large enclosed pool area was completely deserted. No biggie, we just need to sleep. 2. There was a billiard table right outside our door, maybe 30 feet away. The glass that the balls are stored behind before putting in your quarters was missing, so free billiards all night, no money needed (more about that in a bit). 3. There was a small drink table just a few feet from the door to our room that had a small pile of disassembled electronic doorknob/lockset parts, as if someone had been working on the parts but didn't put it back together. 4. The gal at the front desk mentioned that we could park on the side if desired and enter through the side door until 10pm, when that door is locked. We looked at that exterior side door - there wasn't even on a lock on it. In fact there wasn't even a doorknob - just a hole where it was supposed to be. There was another pile of lockset pieces in the corner of the hall, presumably for that door. 5. The veneer on the door in our room had the bottom 6 inches or so missing; it had been peeled off. 7. The swivel lock to lock the door from the inside was missing; you could see the holes where it used to be. 8. Two double beds, not two queens as advertised. 9. The pole in the doorless closet space was gone; no place to hang your clothes. 10. The bedspreads were really gross, with a 2 inch hole burned through one of them. 11. Both beds had dirty sheets. I think they were washed, but permanently soiled, gray in places that used to be white. 12. The towels in the bathroom looked like mechanic's used shop towels - one would not be able to wash the black out of those white towels. 13. The property smells and very dirty

Check-in Hostess was mumbling, the room we reserved was no longer available, the room next to the pool was noisy all night long! No cups in the room, shelves were falling off the wall, no coat hangers, holes in the draywall. Check in lady said it is for sale and you should have seen before. Trailer with soiled mattresses right by the front door.

This place needs to be shut down as a hotel or motel open to the public. It should be used for just homeless population or people with addiction problems. It did not seem like a clean environment in any space of the building or room and it seemed very unsafe. It was so terrible that we immediately left and while out I reserved a different hotel room. The woman at the front desk was nice enough,however announced our room number out loud several times. I had a bad feeling from the moment I went in but ignored it. The room looked mostly ok but the floor was sticky,beer in the fridge,security bolt broken,curtains didn't fully close..used toilet paper in the toilet and when I tried to flush it almost overflowed. It was easy to get a refund and we quickly left with a drunk man saying "hey girlie,girlie". Avoid this place. It felt unsafe and creepy.
