Manager Audrey and her team have made our stay very pleasant! They were friendly and welcoming. We booked a family room, it had a double bed and 2 single beds in 2 rooms. It was very clean, bright and airy! Breakfast was excellent! Can’t fault anything for this B&B. And it’s right opposite the beach front promenade!

We have just returned from an idyllic stay at the New England. It has always been one of our favourite places and the new hosts have kept all of it's special charm and comfort. We were warmly welcomed and happy to be in one of the rooms with balcony and seaview. Lovely, clean and comfortable, with tea,coffee,biscuits and a chocolate each on the pillow! Treats too,in the bathroom,with toiletries and big fluffy towels. There was also a mini-fridge,which helped as we had tickets for Glyndebourne and a picnic to organise! Breakfast was beautifully prepared,fresh fruit,porridge,and yoghurt. We felt as if we were staying with friends. We can't wait to go back again. Thank you New England. You made our break extra special.

The hotel is close to the sea front. Room was pleasantly decorated, was amazingly clean. The service and attention to detail was so impressive, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was so delicious, I would give it a 10/10. We will definitely be returning.

I would highly recommend this hotel. It was so clean, tidy and the breakfast is lovely. Our room was immaculate, our bed was really comfortable and it had all the little extras such as tea, coffee, biscuits and chocolate on your pillow upon your arrival. Alan our host was so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble.

Such a fantastic stay this weekend. From the second we arrived to a lovely warm welcome, everything has been perfect. A beautifully decorated bedroom, spotlessly clean with the handy fridge. Comfy bed too! Most of all, the team made all the difference - so friendly, so helpful & genuinely seemed to care that we had a good time. Our breakfast was perfect - my fresh fruit salad was so fresh & beautifully made and the pancakes came with a gloriously generous portion of syrup! My husband said his full english was also great; and he stayed on in the lounge & said he had a lovely coffee! All of the awards on display are well deserved & we can’t wait for an excuse to come back. I would never normally book a B&B but saw the good reviews & took a chance - I’m so glad we did.

Just returned from another wonderful stay at The New England, with the lovely Brid and Derek. As always, we received a warm welcome, tea and cake on arrival, an immaculate room with very comfortable bed and a hearty and delicious breakfast. We are always made to feel special and are treated as old friends. Sadly, we had to say farewell to our hosts, who are moving on to pastures new, and we wish them all the luck in the world. Our extended family trips to Eastbourne will not be the same without them. We do hope, however, that The New England will continue to prosper following Brid and Derek’s hard work.

What a lovely B&B like a small hotel, very clean in the public areas and room, Breakfast was very yummy, beds were so comfortable. Both owners were so friendly and kind. We will definitely be returning. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Thanks so much to the lovely folks at the Nee England for making our place unforgettable. We ( 2 adults 2 children) had an amazing time. The rooms were well stocked, comfortable and set out ideally. There were lots of things to do nearby and it was situated right across from the beach. We got lots of invaluable recommendations that made our trip extra special. A special thank you to Brid, who the kiddies still talk about, for her genuine kindness. I cannot recommend this place enough.

The overall experience was excellent. The proprietors were friendly and welcoming. The hotel was attractively decorated and furnished. The bedroom was very comfortable with its own spacious balcony overlooking the sea. the breakfasts were excellent.
