Location is good near to the seven sisters waterfalls. The environment is peaceful. The rooms are spacious and has all the facilities. They have a good parking space and a small play area for kids. Food served is also good though the options are limited. Overall a good place to stay for vacation in cherrapunji.

We enjoyed the stay here, the location (a bit away from the city traffic jams), and most of all, the hospitality. We had a cab hired from Guwahati and hence it did not matter that we were out of the city, and also helped in avoiding traffic every day to explore nature around Shillong! The food was nice too, and we particularly remember the nice Allo parottas that we had for breakfast!

Orange Homestay is an excellent accommodation and is above Frank motors (Tata motors dealer). The rooms are spacious and very clean. The terrace is awesome as they have many flowering plants which are blooming. The food is also good but at times the wait time is more. The staff are very helpful and service oriented. They don't expect Tips. Very polite and well mannered. Breakfast options are limited but serving is generous and unlimited. There is only 1 chef and he arrives around 7 am. So the earliest you can expect the Breakfast is at 7:30 am. It would be either of Poori or Bhature or Aloo Paratha ***** with bread toast and bread sandwich. Whatever they cook is tasty. Coming to the drawbacks. 1) No lift. If you get room at 3rd floor then it will be difficult for elderly 2) The accommodation is on Laitmor/Mawblei main road which is always busy and very noisy. Sleeping in the night will be slightly difficult due to the vehicles making noise. 3) Very far away from Police bazaar. You need at least 1 hour by car to reach police bazaar though the distance is only 6 kms. Shillong traffic is pathetic. Taxi guys fleece you. It costed us 400 to come from Police Bazar to Orange homestay. There is no car parking as well at Police bazaar. So if you are keen to spend time on shopping then Orange homestay may not be the right place. We stayed in room 111 at 3rd floor and the room is massive in size. Very thoughtfully stocked with hot packs, geyser, Air conditioning which can also double up as heater, extra blankets etc.

This is a simple, clean and quiet place to stay at while at Shillong. The rooms are large enough for a couple. The property is in a quieter part of the town. The staff at the reception, are friendly and efficient. The only area for improvement is breakfast. It is too simple. If they could add some fruit to begin with, it would make a big difference.

Very conveniently located in a residential area with markets, restaurants and even a hospital at 5-6 minutes walking distance. Rooms are neat and clean. All basic amenities are provided. Staffs are very polite and took extra effort to attend our additional needs. Also breakfast served was very delicious. Overall a delightful experience staying at cassiopeia guest house. Would like to visit again

Not only did he ensure we had everything we needed at the hotel, but he also provided us with invaluable local knowledge. He recommended some offbeat places to explore, which turned out to be the highlight of our trip. While we had already planned to visit a few popular tourist spots, Verdi’s suggestions gave us the opportunity to experience the more hidden gems of the area. These less-known places were unique and allowed us to see a side of the destination that most visitors might miss. Thanks to his recommendations, we ventured off the beaten path and explored areas that were peaceful, scenic, and rich in culture. It made our trip even more memorable. Verdi’s genuine care and attention to detail truly enhanced our experience. Overall, the hotel offered excellent service, and we were very impressed by the staff, especially Verdi. If you're looking for a place where the staff not only meets your needs but also elevates your travel experience, this is the perfect spot. We highly recommend it!

I visited this place ***** with my friends. The location is in the heart of the City. We visited this place for dinner and we enjoyed taking pictures by the pool area. Courtyard by Marriott Shillong is such a wonderful place. Thank You Atish & Alna for your great service. All the staff are warm and courteous.
