호텔 린덴호프 뒤셀도르프(Hotel Lindenhof)

The worst I have ever stayed in. Left after one day even with being booked for the week. No kettle no fridge one bed for 2 occupants extremely basic accommodations at a high price where you expect more. I went to a different much better hotel after just one evening stay. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

The Location is based central but on a very loud street Some interior of the furniture and the room itself was kind of in a not good condition and shape. In the bathroom at the door there was a corner from the wood missing

BOOK 🥴 this hotel on a booking website because if you call the hotel and make reservations with them directly 💸 ... you pay 5% more !!?? than on a booking portal. You can also save money if you don't use the CARPARKING 🥴 recommended by the hotel as Oststrasse Parkhaus asks 15 Euro/24 hrs. But if you use Grupellostrasse Parkhaus you only pay 12 Euro/24 hrs (both carparkings = minutes away/walking). LOCATION 👍 of the hotel is excellent, close to all the highlights of DUS (in walking distance). ROOMS 👍 are small, clean 👏 and ok for a city hotel. Good sleep quality. Also soundproof windows, important as the hotel is located on a busy street and a wellknown Brauerei/brewhouse Schumacher attracts plenty of (noisy) clients. BREAKFAST 👍 good, great choice. SERVICE 👍 friendly and welcoming.

I tried to reserve a room but the website was down. I received no confirmation or communication of any sort. I then noticed that I was charged 3 weeks after the intended reservation. They told me this was for a "no show fee" but then stopped communicating with me once I explained that there was no communication or confirmation from them. I explained that I could not cancel a reservation that I never received confirmation for. They refused to provide evidence that they confirmed the reservation. I am being charged for a faulty website and email system that is not my fault.

An impeccably clean hotel, with helpful reception staff. The first room we had faced on the street and we found it too noisy on a Friday night - there is a popular pub oppostite - and we were grateful to change it for a room on the inside looking onto the small courtyard: perfectly peaceful. The breakfast is good: nice bread, nice muesli and a range of other foods. The U-bahn station is just a few minutes down the road, and getting into the centre is easy and quick. It's a small hotel: good for short stays when you've got plenty of activities in the city.

Nice large room with great decor, although the bathroom was quite tight considering the size of the rest of the room. Buffet breakfast ws plentiful although probably more European than other hotels. Staff were friendly. Hotel was located close to the train station but a little further to the main tourist area near the river, but still walkable.

Central unpretentious hotel five minutes from central station 10 minutes walk to the old town. On main road but not noisy efficient concierge service check in no problem, room reasonable size warm modern facilities but no tea or coffee making. Breakfast plentiful and a good selection of hot and cold items. Only criticism the bed was a little low but not a big problem

I went here with my son for 3 nights. There was an miscommunication about the room which was solved fast and very well. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The room was very nice and clean. The bed very comfortable although some extra pillows would be welcome because they were very soft. The bathroom was big with a bath. Only strange thing was the showerdoor. It went inside the bath and stopped against the faucet and it was made of glass. I still don't understand how it works and felt unsave. The room and bathroom were well equipped. Some nice chairs, a desk and a TV, standard things although the TV had a huge amount of channels for Germans, French, Spanish and Arabic, no English of even Dutch (He, we are neighbours ;) ). Not such a big deal, we were there for Düsseldorf, not the room. The breakfast was good. Yes, European. But guess what? We are in Europe! Enough choices of bread, cheese etc. Good choices for drinks and the staff (always a smile) keeping all filled and clean. The hotel is perfectly placed. Everything is nearby. The trainstation (Wow, that sure was a dirty place and neighbourhood), Altstadt, königsallee ans the fairground. It was very hot when we were at Düsseldorf and luckely our room was not at the front. The sun did not shine right at our room, which kept the heat a bit out. There is no aircondition, so it was pretty hot in the room. The windows can be opened in different ways which is handy to get a bit cool air inside. But unfortunately there is allot going on outside. Loud people (Bar across the street, worth a visit!) and traffic. We got the feeling as if there was constantly a garbage truck doing its job. But if you keep the windows closed, it is almost gone. This hotel is good for a visit at Düsseldorf and you won't be dissapointed!

Hotel Lindenhof is a quirky little hotel quite suitable for travellers on a budget. The tariff includes a buffet breakfast which is served in a separate room. Our stay coincided with the warm weather of the 2022 European summer. The hotel is not air conditioned. Our room was hot and stuffy for most of the time. There was no fan. The lighting was very poor and made conditions difficult for any work. The welcome when we arrived was indifferent to say the least but we noticed the staff ranged from quite friendly to very formal. Hotel Lindenhof is close to the Ost Strasse U Bahn station (one stop from Hauptbahnhof). It’s walkable from Hbf but the cobblestone footpaths can make walking with luggage a little challenging. There is a very good self service laundry almost next door to the hotel.
