What wonderful hosts Susie and Colin are - great people, kind and welcoming and perfect for what they do. This is a cute guest house, very well located for Dunfermline Queen Margaret station just a few minutes away, which itself is just 40 minutes from Edinburgh. Comfortable rooms and an excellent breakfast, this was a great location to get into and out of Edinburgh for the fringe. Thanks for a great stay and for being such great hosts.

Lovely warm welcome, Suzanne and Colin are perfect hosts. We had a twin room which was roomy with plenty of facilities, lots of tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits. Fridge for personal use. Nice dining area in conservatory and there is a guest lounge with tv. Beautiful breakfast, cereal, individual fresh fruit pot and yogurt, full Scottish breakfast with toast. Close to Scotrail and approx 30 mins to Edinburgh Waverley.

Great experience wonderful hosts great sleep will definitely be back breakfast was lovely quiet location and Ben though it was near main road , pub only a 5 minute walk which served evening meals also car parking

Owners were so friendly, loved all of our stay, we were visiting friends and this was ideal for our friends to pick us up for days out. Breakfast was great and plenty of choice. Loved the yogurt and toast etc.

If you are looking for a nice guesthouse in Dunfermline, right by the train station to Edinburgh (4 min walk), with wonderful hosts (Colin and Suzy), a superb breakfast, and free parking, this is the place for you! Recommended! Thanks!!

My friend and I had a lovely stay at Clarke Cottage. Received a very warm welcome from Suzanne who was very accommodating with our late arrival and arranging a twin room. Rooms are clean and comfortable and a great location near the train station. There’s on-site parking too.
