Hotel is 10 mins 🚶 from the pier of Lido. It is in a nice and quiet area . Room itself is basic. The mid aged female receptionist is impatient . only 1 restaurant nearby , bus 🚉 for bus to Lido town is just in front of the hotel. Recommend for a short stay

I have a good stay with my daughter. We were surprised to see the room having a rooftop windows. We saw beautiful sky during the nights. Thank you for the arrangement.

Just returned from an enjoyable two day break at Villa Mabpapa. Our room was spotless, we were upgraded to Lagoon room which had a lively polished wood floor and a bathroom which was sympathetic to the 1930’s style which the hotel does very well. The staff at the hotel are welcoming and very helpful. We ate once in the restaurant, the food was excellent and the restaurant manager really helpful especially with the after dinner drinks. The transport to and from the hotel to Venice was regular and we had a speedy trip to Murano courtesy of the hotel. We discovered on the final day that the bus to the water terminal leaves on the opposite side of the road, just past the shops, after midday and takes a bit longer - the bus is ‘A’ to get to the hotel and stops opposite the exit from the terminal by the cafe. Would definitely recommend for a slower pace after a day in the chaos of Venice itself.

ARNAQUE TOTAL N'achetez PAS leur proposition de GONDOLE. On a payé 120€ chez eux et sur place c'était 90€ (Gondole Danieli). Et quand j'ai demandé pour quelle raison on a dû payer plus cher pas d'explication crédible juste pour le rdv. Nous avons séjourné à l'hôtel Villa Mabapa pendant 3 nuits du 10 -13 avril 2024. L'emplacement est agréable vue sur la lagune. Mais la chambre 101 le lit était très dur et bruyant à chaque mouvement. Déçu

Wo soll man anfangen? Renovierungsbedürftiges Hotel, bei dem man sich fragt, wofür hier 4 Sterne vergeben wurden. Nach vorne laut wegen der Autofähre, dem Autoverkehr und Fenstern, die nichts isolieren. Reisegruppe beim Absacker bis spät in die Nacht an der Gartenbar. Von den Zimmernachbarn hört man alles. Nach Zimmerwechsel eigentlich ganz schöne Terrasse (mit einem nicht benutzbarem Stuhl für 2 Personen), aber auch die müsste mal gereinigt werden. Frühstück: nichts Besonderes, aber unterirdischer Kaffee aus einer Jacobs-Maschine (Gegenstand von Bewertungen seit 4 Jahren), unengagierter Service, der feststellt, dass das Rührei alle ist, aber nichts nachfüllt. Sonstiges: Badewanne mit Plastik-Vorhang. Kaffee-Tütchen werden nicht nachgefüllt, denn das kostet ja extra. Zimmerpreis liegt bei €186 (Vorsaison), dafür könnte man ein paar Nescafé-Tütchen schon erwarten. Das Hotel lebt von Gruppen-Reisen und ist weder ein 4 Sterne Hotel, noch für Individual-Reisende geeignet. Alles wird seit Jahren immer wieder in Bewertungen benannt, aber nicht geändert, da es der Hotel-Leitung letztlich unwichtig ist.

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Mabapa. Our room in the garden building was comfortable and clean and mostly quiet, although because it adjoined the room next door it was possible to hear the person next door talking when the other room was occupied. The buffet breakfast was pretty good, including scrambled eggs, toast, cheeses and hams, yogurts and cereals as well as different cakes and pastries each morning. Unfortunately the restaurant was under renovation so we weren't able to try it. The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. During off-season the nearest vaporetto stop to the hotel (Lido S Nicolo) does not have any services except the car ferry, so you have to walk to Lido S.M.E but it is only 10 minutes walk away.

This hotel is probably the best I have ever stayed at for decor. Almost 100 years old, but well modernized. Beautiful in every way. Such culture! So man beautiful objects to enjoy! Balconies accessible. Wonderful landscaping. Yes, I strongly recommend.
