Premier Inn Dublin City Centre (Temple Bar)

Dublin temple bar. 02/06/23. Besides the location nothing else was good about our stay. We arrived Friday night checked in and explored the surrounding areas of the hotel. Getting to bed as we had only 1 full day in dublin, the fire alarm goes off at 4.30am/5.00am in the morning, there was no structure of getting people out of the hotel safely. There was no set meet point with everyone spread out right outside the hotel and we even had some of our other group in different rooms who were not checked on. No register was completed either to check everyone was out safely. No one let us know whether it was a false alarm or a real fire, there was no leadership or control of the situation, which stressed alot of people out meaning we struggled to get back to sleep to start out day at 9am. We chose premier inn for the very reason of having a restful sleep as it says in the slogan, this was not the case at all. We were all then let back in at 6am, and this ruined our day and experience of Dublin, with little to no rest or sleep at all.

Woken up at 5 o’clock in the morning due to fire alarm. Guests received extremely disappointing customer service from this point onwards. It took over 5 minutes for a member of staff to arrive with the ‘Fire Assembly Point’ signage, so guests were left standing on the street in the cold with no direction. Just as well it wasn’t a real fire as staff showed no sense of urgency and seemed to have no clue of the fire drill procedure! On top of this, staff had established the alarm had sounded due to a guest vaping in their room - so there was no real fire. Yet we were all left outside for half an hour before being able to return to rooms and sleep, as the incompetent fire leader attempted to take an incomprehensible register… on the whole the situation was handled so poorly, and when we raised this issue at check out, the staff really did not care. Very concerned if there were ever a real fire at this place. Will not stay here again and do not recommend it.

Fabulous premier inn, clean, comfortable, excellent breakfast, great family room. Extremely friendly helpful staff. Staff looked after our bags upon checking out so we could explore Dublin, upon collection made us a lovely cup of tea (even though the kitchen was closed) while we waited for our taxi to the airport and didn’t charge! How kind! Would highly recommend.

Gute Lage im Stadtzentrum, Garage vorhanden (Einfahrt von der anderen Seite – Drury Street), Zimmer sauber und mit üblichem Standard, bequeme Betten, jedoch bei unserer Ankunft lag die Zimmertemperatur bei 18 Grad. Einstellung am Thermostat nicht möglich, da es gesperrt war. Telefon zur Rezeption war ebenfalls tot. Also wieder zurück zur Rezeption, urgieren… wird erledigt, sorry, sorry.. Zurück im Zimmer, Heizung noch immer nicht entsperrt – es ist kalt ! Während wir warten, stellen wir fest auch das WLAN funktioniert nicht. Erst nach abermaligem Urgieren an der Rezeption erklärt sich die Dame bereit, in unserem Zimmer beim Thermostat nachzusehen. Erst nachdem sie den Missstand selbst feststellte, immerhin die Heizung, das nicht funktionierende Telefon und WLAN, wird sie aktiv. Nach ca. einer Stunde funktioniert dann alles. Zimmerservice muss man, wenn gewünscht, am Vortag an der Rezeption anmelden. Zimmerservice gab es am nächsten Tag trotzdem keines !!! Verbesserungen in mehreren Bereichen dringend notwendig !!

Disappointed that we were charged for 2 x 2 meal deal but only wanted 2x1 was given a refund receipt on 12 th April, it's now 15th May and STILL waiting despite being told it would be refunded within 15 working days. I have emailed Premier Inn several times and was informed that I would hear within 30 days. Considering that it was an employee's fault, I'm disgusted with the lack of response from Premier Inn.

Hotel was in a great location for the events we were joining over the weekend. Definitely could have offered better in-room service, given 2 towels for a room with 2 people, given more than 2 teabags for a stay of 2 nights.

Stayed here for one night. Location is perfect for exploring Dublin. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was standard premier inn room, had a good nights sleep. Had breakfast in hotel it was ok nothing exceptional. Had such a good welcome rebooked for our return to Dublin.

This hotel was very clean and the breakfast was very good (buffet style) and the coffee (americano) was very good. The pillows are quite flat and the comforter is very heavy and too warm. I could have/should have pulled the comforter out of the duvet and just used the duvet.

Got exactly what we paid for, room was basic but clean and comfortable. Great location. Would go back again
