더 클래런스 더블린(The Clarence)

마지막으로 여기에 머물렀을 때(약 6년 전?) 방이 더럽기 때문에 3주 전까지 다시 돌아오지 않았습니다. 위치는 Liffey 강을 따라 있는 Temple 바의 가장자리에 바로 있어 훌륭합니다. 단점은 파티 공간이기 때문에 이 지역의 대부분의 호텔과 마찬가지로 바 등에서 나는 소음이 많아 늦게까지 잠을 잘 계획이 없습니다. 내가 가진 유일한 큰 문제는 32c 자카르타에서 오는 12c 더블린에 있었고 중앙 난방이 작동하지 않았습니다. 리셉션에 전화를 걸어 스위치를 켜면 매시간 차단되고 리셉션에 전화할 때까지 다시 작동하지 않습니다. 전혀 용납할 수 없습니다. 5성급 호텔. 5번이나 불러서 잠이 안와서 끝!! 화요일 밤이었기 때문에 호텔의 바 중 하나가 문을 닫은 것처럼 보였습니다. 지난 번에 내가 한 것처럼 아침 식사를 하지 않았습니다. 오랜 시간이 걸렸고 트립어드바이저에 대한 최근 리뷰로 냉정하게 판단했습니다. 체크인 및 체크아웃 시 리셉션은 환대에 대한 상을 받지 못했으며 그저 괜찮았습니다. 제가 며칠 전에 머물렀던 강 건너편의 모리슨에서 진정한 환대를 배울 수 있었습니다. 다시 거기에 머물겠습니까 - 아니오 - Bono와 현지인에게 맡기십시오 - 더블린 시에서 가질 수 있는 것과 같거나 더 적은 돈을 위한 환대-더 나은 호텔과 마찬가지로 열은 기본 요구 사항입니다.

Great location, pleasant staff, and comfortable bed.

Perfect location. Hotel is simple and rustic. No AC (which is fine, it’s Ireland) but we had an interior window that faced the sunrise so it warmed up rather quickly. Thankful for the soundproof windows bc there was a hopping bar below us w thumping music well into the early morning. But again, with this, air flow became a challenge at night. Grateful for the door fan which was provided. Hotel staff were helpful and provided us w an adaptor promptly.

Good location and friendly staff. Busy part of the city but good access to food and bars

I would have given 5 stars, however we were kept up the two nights we were there till 2am due to the thumping music from the pub next door. They were playing some amazing music though. The lobby was also super hot and we couldn't enjoy a drink at the bar because it was pushing 80 degrees.

The Clarence was lovely, and handy for everything. The service was excellent. Unfortunately, our room (315) backed onto Temple Bar and getting to sleep on Saturday night was a little difficult 😀

We had one night in Dublin before travelling up to meet family in the north. The hotel and its staff were amazing from start to finish. We received an upgraded room and enjoyed a relaxing suite for the time we were there. Along with being able to check in early due to an early flight. Couldn’t have asked for any more. Will definitely stay here again when next over in Dublin.

The property was located in the heart of Temple Bar district which was very ideal. When we arrived, the staff was able to book us into a room before our check-in time which was much appreciated. The overall aesthetic of the property felt true to their online marketing -- fun, chic vibe. I was a bit disappointed in our room accommodations. We were told this was a upgrade, which I later learned was because of some design they recently completed in the bathroom. Our room was a corner unit that looked into a bare stairwell. I could care less about the view, but the room had a strange spatial configuration which made it really difficult to fit our luggage and have our luggage simultaneously open. Plus, the bathroom flooded every time we ran the shower. I think this was due to the glass not extending far enough beyond the showerhead and the curb or shower pan not gradating towards the drains. We were only there two nights, and by the time we had our first flooding experience, it only 36 hours until check-out so we decided to live with it during our time there. Lastly, the heating unit was not controllable from our room. We later learned that you had to call into the front desk and they would manually turn it off and on. After cooking our first night, we tried to call in the morning but couldn't find a phone to reach the reception. It was resolved after an in-person conversation. A minor disappoin**ent given that splurgy expense to stay there and the high expectations going in.

Great location and such a lovely entrance / bar area. It can be noisier in the evening.
