Rumba rooms are great, spacious and well equipped. Food excellent Pool with a great view Private beach Staff were so good , the most helpful and knowledgable of everywhere we stayed. Simone and Camille especially on reception. All bar/restaurant staff v friendly and service was good. Tour of the studio was great . Lots of steps mean not good for those with mobility issues. Take a torch as not all is well lit Some areas look as though they need a lick of paint. At first we felt the communal areas were a bit basic but the staff and the hotel room made up for this. Port Antonio town is worth a visit, the locals are all very similes and like to chat. They appreciate the trade as well. Local beaches nearly , Frenchmen’s cove is beautiful but costs roughly £12 per person to enter, Sun beds are also available for hire.

We've just returned from a delightful week at Geejam and I couldn't be more excited to share with all of you just how good this place is. Our room was top notch with amazing views over the infinity pool into the sea. Our meals prepared fresh with different options daily delighted us with every turn. We used their paddleboard and kayaks, swam with turtles, enjoyed the quiet beach and evening water front bar. Love music? Worlds best artists record right here! Thanks John, Steve and everyone on team Geejam you made us feel like family.

I absolutely love Geejam. The views are breathtaking, the rooms are immaculate, comfortable and the decorations are an ode to Jamaica's culture, our music. The staff are professional and warm, the food is awesome! I recommend getting away from the hustle and bustle and staying here to refresh, rejuvenate and unwind! And of course, have a Tingaling or two! (Ask the bartender for one of those).

I had such an amazing time at Geejam. I extended my stay! (I didn’t want to leave 😭). The staff were so lovely and ensured I was well taken care of. And I’m so happy I got to surf in Jamaica 🏄‍♀️ (and I got my Ackee!). Geejam is a unique experience, it’s a whole vibe, and the studio tour is a must! It is truly a slice of paradise ❤️💛💚

I recently stayed at the Panorama Villa with my sister and her family where we celebrated my brother in law's 60th birthday. The experience was awesome. We had 2 days of celebration with friends and family some who stayed at Geejam Hotel and others at various surrounding Villas. Steve and his team went all out and beyond to ensure everyone was comfortable and entertained. His staff was on top of everything from party set up to clean up. The vibes, the food, the location and sceneries were totally beyond my expectation. Would definitely be back!!!

We stayed at a nearby villa and stopped by for a late afternoon chill at Bushbar. Steve invited us back for the Geejam Studios experience later that evening. Everything about Geejam truly has a “natural mystic blowing through the air”. Thanks Steve, for your hospitality. A true gentleman and an ultimate host. We’ll be back… just not soon enough.

Geejam is a mix of understated luxury and boho vibe in a lush rainforest area. You can do nothing or everything. I loved it - from the wonderful staff, yummy food, super comfortable room, small excellent exercise building, coral reef beach, interesting varied local experiences, the crazy drive to and from Kingston airport, and of course, the music including the local rooster every morning!!

Had a really great time staying at the drum n bass room here. Beautiful balcony with a hot tub that overlooks the water, really nice, friendly and accommodating staff. A great restaurant and great bar with some really cool amenities and a really good location near a bunch of attractions and I definitely can't forget about the wonderful co-owner Steve that showed us the studio and had some wonderful stories and was a big reason why I will be coming back here again.

Having read the excellent reviews about Geejam and heard much about its legendary appeal, we finally made it there, and were delighted that it fully lived up to expectations. Front of house and co-owner, the perma behatted Steve Beaver, the king of cool, sets the tone with his easy charm with the guests and attention to detail. Wonderful setting, stylish and comfortable rooms, an all round thoroughly laid back and chilled experience. Strongly recommended.
