Lovely self contained cottages a stones throw from the water. Great view, nice cabin, simply lovely couple running the show, nothing was too much trouble. Close to a lot of points of interest on the southern edge. Highly recommend for couples.

The cottage was simple, comfortable and well located. With a wonderful water views. The owners were very helpful and welcoming.

We arrived at Driftwood cottages on a very chilly day. The underfloor heating & a column heater had thoughtfully been put on so it was cosy & warm. The cottages are well set up & well equipped with lovely views across the bay. Alex & Nadine are friendly hosts but not intrusive. A very comfortable stay, highly recommended.

The waterfront studio cottage had amazing views of the bay. We had a warm welcome on arrival and the cottage is so nice and warmly set up - clean, warm, and has all the nice touches that really make a difference- a fully equipped kitchen with all the little extra things like glad wrap and foil, body wash and shampoo, comfy bed, coffee machine and pods and a well-equipped guest laundry. Definitely recommended.

Superb location overlooking the bay, very quiet and clean, all necessary amenities available. Conveniently located when exploring south of Hobart: Hastings caves, hiking tracks in close by mountains or along the ocean. I highly recommend. Laurent

For our holiday needs this property provided all the necessities. From it we could explore the south western part of Tasmania.

There isn't a great deal of accommodation to choose from in Dover. We chose this one because it looked nice, and it was well located by the bay. And we're very glad we did! We booked a studio cottage which had views directly over Dover Harbour. The host & hostess were very welcoming and friendly, giving us directions and advice. The cottage was clean and well equipped and the views in Dover are just fabulous. I'd definitely recommend this accommodation.

We recently stayed in the Driftwood cottage,1st appearances all looked lovely,however one sofa the arms kept falling off and was dirty,the other sofa was disgusting,the seats kept coming off so we took them from sofa to have a look,all the stuffing was coming out as the bottoms were all ripped and stained totally disgusting.Contacted the owner who couldn't care less as she retires in 4 weeks,said they are perfectly fit for purpose and wouldn't be replacing them,even thou they were only fit for the skip.Contacted cottages .com who said nothing would be done as only were going to be used for another month.They asked for a small refund she said no as they were still useable.Totally fuming
