베스트 웨스턴 도스웰 호텔(Days Inn by Wyndham Doswell at the Park)

A good, quiet stay across the street from King's Dominion. Arrived without reservation at 9 PM on the proverbial dark and stormy night. Greeted warmly by desk staff going through shift change and quickly received room at less cost than the nearby La Quinta, probably because King's Dominion amusement park was not yet open for the season. Received a pleasant room and comfortable room in which everything worked with a fast internet. My only two issues were that the decor and lighting from the recent renovation were somewhat dark and that, at the moment, the coffee available 24/7 in the lobby is a bit distant from the grimly decorated breakfast room. Would definitely stay again.

Room was spotless. Everything looked new. Tv didn’t work. Shade wouldn’t pull down. Shower drain was stopped up and I couldn’t take a shower before we left. When I left the door wouldn’t close.

We stopped at this hotel on our way home from Florida. Wasn't sure what to expect but we were very pleased with this hotel. The staff was very friendly. Our room was nicely appointed and clean. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed our overnight stay.

The property was nice I had a room full of ants after I checked in and then he gave me another room and then the toilet wouldn’t stop running

Clean, accommodating, friendly, good to our fur baby, extremely pleasant to my grandchildren. Clean pool, clean facilities. A bit better breakfast, and it would have been perfect. Left 2 cell phones behind and they returned them to me in the mail!!!! Thank you!!!

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times in the last six months while going to Kings Dominion and have never had any issues. The hotel is close enough you can walk over to Kings Dominion. They are currently in the process of renovating the rooms. I thought the rooms were fine before, but they look great now. Everything is new and clean. I highly recommend staying at this hotel!

Nice and clean rooms. The newly remodeled 3rd floor was extremely nice and comfortable. Only problem was the elevator quit working and we had to use the stairs a few times. Overall it was a good experience.

I’m not sure where some of the negative reviews about this property come from. Is it the Ritz? No, but it’s not advertised as the Ritz. Our room was clean. The bathroom was clean. A/c worked as did the TV and fridge. We paid about $100 a night. I’d stay her again.

The sheets and towels appeared to be clean but the room had not been cleaned very thoroughly. The property is run-down and needs work. Beware that the train tracks are right behind the property and two trains went through during the night- complete with whistle blowing.
