Had an amazing stay as usual, very accommodating as forgot hair dryer, and dean soon put one in our room for us, Breakfast was great very tasty and filling cooked to perfection and hot. Located right on the front with a lovely sea view room, close to everything

I have stayed here plenty of times and always have the same great experience. The owner is always welcoming and friendly, breakfast is always tasty, love the sea view from the bedrooms and whilst eating breakfast. Love staying here, would definitely recommend.

We’ve stayed in many hotels/ b&b’s in Weymouth but this is definitely one of our favourites, our room was massive with a small indoor balcony and private bathroom. It’s on the beach front and a short walk from everything. We will be staying again in the future 😊

We wanted a place to stay close to the station. This place was lovely a great old building full of character. Just what we expected a sea view and a clean room. Good value for money.. breakfast was amazing and owner was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Last minute , booked direct with Dean and arrived next day. We had a room with sea view and a balcony. We sat out and watched the world go by with a tea in the morning and something else in the afternoon after our return. Weymouth beachfront is busy with people and traffic , we were aware of both and it's not an issue. The room was clean and tidy, the bathroom was ok with a good shower. Towels and bedding was good. Breakfast was a real day starter, full English got you bacon sausage tomato mushrooms fried bread and egg fried/scrambled/poached. Serial , toast and jams. Pot of tea or coffee and orange juice. To be fair , if you are it all you'd not need lunch...which is what we did more or less. Dean advised us where to park and that was free for the 3 days, a 10min walk. Overall a reality good stay thanks to all at A Maiden Rest.

Sensible priced hotel in good seafront location.

Just had another great week at A Maidens Rest. We always choose 1 of the balcony rooms. Not only a great view of the sea its also a great place to sit out and people watch. It has easy access to the balcony thro the huge sash window. The rooms are a good size for 2 people. Very comfy and clean. Big ensuit with spacious shower. Breakfast is always great. Good portion sizes and choice. Owner Dean and the team are very accommodating and nothing is to much trouble. Will always stay here. Booked up already for a wk in sept. Thank you guys.

Really lovely B&B. From the booking through to departure Dean was welcoming and helpful. The bedrooms were a good size, and a fabulous view. We had the triple room and the single bed is a real bed (rather than some places with a sofa bed). The linen was clean and fresh. The bathroom had a great shower and of course there were plenty towels, loo roll and toiletries. As expected the room had tea/coffee making facilities and a TV on the wall. Entry is through a couple of keys meaning there is no curfew and guests can come and go as they please. The breakfast was great - full English was very welcome sitting in the sunshine in the morning. If I had to really find a ****** then perhaps I might say that the wallpaper in the bathroom was a little stretched in the corner, but honestly, I'm not there to study the wallpaper! Did I get a good sleep, did the family? Yes! Did they have a good breakfast? Yes! Was it easy to find? Yes! Was the host fabulous? Yes! Checkin/Checkout easy? Yes! More than happy with the whole experience :-) I would certainly recommend and I will certainly look to book again if I can in the future. Thank you Dean!
