바라자 리조트 & 스파 잔지바르(Baraza Resort and Spa Zanzibar)

Our recent visit at Baraza was truly exceptional, seamlessly blending cultural richness with unparalleled luxury. The attentive staff, particularly Dorin, our waitress, ensured that our every preference was met with utmost care. To our delightful surprise, the management arranged a private dinner set against a stunning backdrop, curated to our preferences from the welcome drink to dessert. Baraza was beyond a mere destination; it offered an experience characterized by luxury, culture, and natural beauty. Our time spent at Baraza left us with treasured memories - Asante Sana Mr. Sujit for arranging such a wonderful trip.

If I could give a 6 star review I would. We stayed at Baraza for the midterm break in October and had the most wonderful stay. The resort is absolutely beautiful, as are the 3 other hotels located on this stunning stretch of coastline that together make up the Zanzibar Collection. As a family of 4 with older teenagers we were all looking to take different experiences away from this trip. My daughter is a keen scuba diver and had the most incredible time diving with The Rising Sun Dive School who operate from Breezes, the first Zanzibar Collection resort. My son was undeniably on the trip for the all inclusive food and the pool life and was definitely not left disappointed. My husband and I loved the tranquility and peacefulness of the resort. I wqs able to just relax in paradise anytime of day, whether it be with a book, a cocktail, a snack from the all day food menu or all three! The accommodation was second to none. We stayed in an ocean front villa and a garden villa and both far exceeded any previous expectations we may have had. In fact, the surroundings were so serene that my husband didn't even mind when he had to fit in a couple of hours of unexpected work. We took the opportunity to explore the coastline further on a reef walk and enjoyed spending time walking along the beach when the tide was out. During our stay, we requested a private tour to visit Stone Town, the hotel packed us off early with a takeaway breakfast and plenty of drinks. The driver even acted as our tour guide when we arrived in Stone Town, taking us to the Slave Museum and Cathedral then helping us purchase spices and local produce at the market. We finished with a delicious lunch in a restaurant recommended by our driver. From the head chef and duty managers to the waiters and activities team, the staff were exceptional, happy and always smiling - no request was ever too much. I finish by saying that to simply call this resort "all inclusive" feels like it is an injustice to the phenomenal food, resort and service that we experienced throughout our stay and we are all excited to return.

After a wonderful but tiring safari in Tanzania, I came to heaven on Earth. Resort Baraza was even more than I had hoped for! The beautifully decorated resort looks exactly like in the photos, but the photos cannot announce the warm and friendly staff that raised the stay at the resort to a special level. Apart from the staff, every meal was a new joy and every member of the family could choose flavors according to their taste. From the moment you enter the property, you are welcome by a fabulous staff and smiles. The accommodations are superb, elegant, and relaxing. We really enjoyed the service there, and wandering around in the tidepools. The food and intertainment was wonderful as well. Very warm hospitality, which is what we experienced throughout Africa. Great pool too! We would highly recommend this resort. We did not have time to experience the Spa on this trip. Lots of activities to do on and around the resort. Good times!

I Am A Well Traveled Man All Around The World This Place Is Truly A Beautiful Place Amazing Architecture,So Spacious My 4th Visit Here. Place Is Still Magnificent However Unfortunately Service & Food Had Gone Down Using Cheap Local Staff Now. We Ordered Fresh Crab , They Had Clearly Used Frozen Crab You Expect A Lot Better. I Will Still Come Back Hope They Take My Comments Seriously

That was my fifth time at the Barazza and once more I was not disappointed. First there is the oustanding location with an untouched immaculate beach from which you can spend hours watching the ocean shifting colors. There is also the refined resort with its white sophisticated lines and shapes that seems to have emerged from an Arabic dream or even better from The thousand and one nights. And of course there is the staff : so nice, so devoted, so helpful, so present without never being intrusive. Of course I could praise so many other things such as the food, the drinks or the spa but such an experience must be lived to be fully understood. I very seldom write reviews but having read one quite dismissive and so different from my own stays I felt I had to set the record straight. If I wanted to be 100 percent fair in my review I would just say that two things could be improved in the beautiful villa : the plastic soap dispenser in the shower that is not up to the standards of such a place and the flush in the toilets that cruelly lacks power. But those are just details and hopefully I hope to be back for a sixth time.

Baraza is a beautiful up-market resort. The Villas with private splash pools are spacious and beautifully decorated in the Arabian theme. Regina made our stay even more special. The food is outstanding with great variety at every meal. We will be back!

This was our 4 th visit to this wonderful hotel ,more like home Having visited other vacations in the last couple of years it was great to return to see so many of the old team at our first lunch who remembered us.Juma now a waiter Godfrey the beach waiter,Ramadhan who ran across the gardens to say I thought it was you,and of course Esther now the food and beverage manager .The food as always was perfect,we love our seafood and there was an abundance..As there was near full occupancy we had the most marvellous buffet lunches and every other night we had set meals which beautifully presented.The chefs went out of their way to give us any special requests. The beach bandas were great and loved to watch with binoculars the fishermen and the goings on the beach.The reef walk is spectacular and interesting we did it 3 times by ourselves each time was different. We are going on a safari in August to see the migration crossings and we will of course be returning to BARAZA for a further week in the sun.

A major flaw with Trip Advisor, is that they do not have a separate rating system for Luxury Hotels... And Baraza is a true luxury hotel. To give Baraza a Five Star rating like so many "Resort Properties" is a travesty. Baraza is so far superior . So much more I could say. Feel free to ask. Simply stated, you will have a very difficult time finding a better resort anywhere in the world... And the spices... left my tongue dancing, and my lips on fire..
