램스 헤드 인(Rams Head Inn)

The hotel was lovely and the food excellent. Staff were so polite and accommodating. The only thing is , we stayed in one of the down stairs rooms to the left of the the property and our room smelt very damp. All the furnishings were lovely but the overwhelming smell of damp would make me rethink about staying in that particular room again. It may have been from the large open fireplace but not sure . Wasn’t going to mention it but felt it was something that needs addressing.

We stayed one night at the Rams Head. Had a superb dinner and breakfast. The staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again and recommend it

A lovely village pub in a pretty village. My room was clean and comfortable, everything you need with a bath and shower combination. Dinner was excellent, and I'd definitely ask for a table in the bar if want a great buzzing atmosphere. It was an amazing breakfast, all locally sourced and beautifully cooked, perhaps the cereal selection could be a bit more extensive! It is how you would want your local village pub to be - everyone in the bar seemed to know each other with the bonus of great food if you wanted to eat. But, as a solo traveler on this occasion, to be honest I felt rather out of the clique having a drink at the bar when I arrived. Probably just me, but I'd say it's a place to stay as a couple or with fiends.

Excellent food, comfortable bed. Although the rooms are a bit tired.

We went here for dinner. Throughly enjoyed it. I had rack of lamb with mash potato cooked perfectly. My husband had game pie with mash very meaty the perfect pie. Dessert was also very enjoyable. The service was friendly and efficient. Lovely find on our weekend break.

A very good room made for an enjoyable stay, a hearty breakfast made an excellent start to the day. The Rams Head is located in a quiet pleasant village.

Its a lovely place --very old building with rooms to suit but delightful. Nico is always helpful and the breakfast excellent. We did not have an evening meal this time but have eaten before when the the food was great --beers to match! One point to note when planning your stay.-- the bar is not open ofr food or drink on a sunday at the moment

Their check-in time was listed as being until 10pm. I arrived at 930pm. The place was locked up and nobody answered the phone when I tried calling them. I knocked on every door there - nothing. I had to find another hotel to stay at. The worst part is this place refuses to give me a refund on my booking. They should be paying me for all the additional expenses I incurred as well as apologising profusely for this terrible customer service. They are not sorry at all. I am disgusted with this place and hope they get banned from *******.
