Iberostar Selection Eolia Djerba

My first impression of the hotel was it’s not professional as they did not receive my booking even though it was fully paid before arrival. I had to resend the confirmation email for them to retrieve my booking. The hotel looked unlively. The room was nice with good view. However they need to upgrade the mattress. Breakfast was very basic without much choice. We enjoyed the sea and indoor pool though.

I would rate the overall experience at this hotel with a 10 out of 10. The staff is super helpful. The pool is huge, clean with a view on the beach. The hotel has a magnificent beach always clean with crystal clear water. Food is delicious with a lot of variety. We heard that the hotel was taken over by Iberostar. This place was already paradise for us, hopefully with this international brand and this total renovation , it will be even better. Hopefully, the charm and authenticity of this hotel will be kept.

Hotel itself was fine, it was some of the staff who made this stay one of our least favorite of our trip. The room was fine and the hotel grounds themselves are very pretty located right on the beach. We were totally ignored by the staff both days we ate at the breakfast buffet. There was plenty of staff and they all seemed like they did not want to be there. Tables were left with dirty dishes and silverware just sitting forever. One day we were asked if we wanted coffee and we requested tea instead. That was the last we ever saw of anyone. Never got our tea. The next day, no one even asked us. The tables that were clean didn't have any silverware on them. The buffet choices were so lacking compared to the previous hotel we stayed at. Very disappointing. There was an omelet station but the cook was very unfriendly and really made you feel like you were putting him out by asking him to cook an egg. He only cooked eggs one way, no matter what you asked for. Also, I realize this time of year is the off-season, but the entire hotel was always dark. They had no lights on in the lobby or on the way to the restaurant. It made us feel like we shouldn't even be there. Very cold and unwelcoming feeling. Wifi in room was fine. Room decor felt quite dated but it was clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Not a lot of outlets in room so if you have a lot of things to charge, be sure to bring some type of extension cord.

Excellent choice for people who are used to quiet 5 stars old fashioned hotels. No music at pool, discreet pool service, very attentive but not pushy. Great pool, lounge chairs and umbrellas. Beach front immaculate,water still warm and sparkling clear . Lovely view from seafront room. Overall service from breakfast, lunch and dinner smooth ,discreet and friendly. Golf nearby, tennis on premises .

Nous avons logé dans cet hôtel en février. L’établissement est très chouette , chambres immenses (toutes des suites en terme de superficie), ménage très bien fait. La nourriture est très goûteuse , pourrait être un peu plus variée mais dans l’ensemble c’était très bon. Le personnel est très courtois , aimable. Les jardins sont magnifiques , très grandes et la plage est probablement la plus belle de djerba. Nous reviendrons en septembre. L hôtel a fermé pour rénovation et réouvre l été , nous avons hâte de découvrir cet upgrade !! Alicious chambre 201.

C’est horrible parce que l’Hasdrubal a été vendu…tous les fidèles sont tristes…….il nous reste le Prestige…. Mais c’est très grand. L’hôtel doit être transformé en club, on entend parler d’Iberostar; le spa sera-t-il le même avec l’ancien personnel ou pas? Si quelqu’un a des infos merci de partager.

En Janvier , nous étions une quarantaine de clients et nous avons été vraiment " chouchoutés " par un personnel attentif , serviable et vigilant . Petits déjeuners sous forme de buffet salé , sucré , varié et copieux . Repas servis à table . Service et choix des plats irréprochables. Quant aux soins ; ils sont d'excellente qualité et dignes des plus beaux centre de Thalasso en France avec un personnel compétent et très professionnel . Chambre avec vue mer spacieuse et très propre . Nous reviendrons .
