This isn’t an average place - but “very good” doesn’t quite cover it either. It’s not a hotel: there’s no reception or human contact except by coincidence; there’s no daily house-keeping or towel changing (matters when nothing dries in un-ventilated bathroom.) It’s not a B&B - no breakfast. Maybe it’s a guest house? I’m never sure what that covers…. Anyhow, the view was indeed fab from our room and the pool. The pool also pretty fab and large. But the sauna,most of the jacuzzi and the clock don’t work. Room is nice and spacious (with the view obvs!) I didn’t like the bed-linen as very synthetic and sweaty - but I am unduly sensitive to that and others might not mind. Internet patchy, especially after a night-time storm. I LOVE having an in-room coffee machine. And husband adored having a little bottle of wine in the room too. So a bit curate’s eggy…

It is a fabulous view but not so fabulous service. The internet never worked, called left a message and sent a message no reply period. The towels were very hard and not soft and plush. The pool smelled musty, would not go in. Snacks were a granola bar. Wine small, small bottle. No fridge only a wine fridge. Terrible place.

We had two nights at Fab View and would very happily stay there again. While our room didn’t have a “fab view”, it was beautifully presented, comfortable and spacious, although the shower pressure could have been a bit higher. The indoor swimming pool was the highlight; we used it both days and the temperature was perfect. We also made use of the steam room. The hotel is a 10-minute walk into town and slightly further back as it’s up a steep hill. Communication was good before our stay and we met the owner Jerry once, who was very polite.

Absolutely amazing stay from the minute we arrived till we left. This place is a little hidden gem! Gerry the host was very friendly and couldn’t have done more for us. If you are staying in dingle you need to stay in fab view. The view of single is incredible from this location.

When we arrived we met Jerry, he welcomed us very kindly and showed us around and both of us were very impressed. The guest house is extremely clean and I was very impressed with our stay and the pool was so relaxing and steam room I would defo recommend throughly enjoyed our stay and defo would return just what we needed! A pure treat to say the least

Just back from a wonderful weekend staying at Fab View & to say it exceeded my expectations would be an understatement. This was up there gladly with one of the best places I've stayed in. The room was spotless stocked with everything one would need after the long journey from Dublin to Dingle. There was state of the art coffee machine, kettle, fridge, plenty of water from the local well, tea, coffee pods and snacks. The beds were comfortable and cosy ideal for after all out sightseeing locally around dingle. There was a huge bath that could comfortably fit more than 3 ppl ( yes we tried) the shower in the Oak room had multiple power jets that refreshed us twice daily. The views were almost 360 up on the hill overlooking the whole town of dingle and was a stunning way to rise in the morning. There was lots of towels robes slippers hairdryer face cloths and toiletries (I'll add that were gorgeous and left my skin and hair smelling Fab) a big plus! The indoor pool OMG where to begin! This was for me the highlight as a swimmer I usually would pop down for dips in the sea versus using a pool but I didn't need to staying here the pool was so tranquil and the jacuzzi healed my legs after 2 nights dancing down the local bars. The view again from here was spectacular 👌 it has a sauna and steamroom and a perfect changing area. Lots of lounges and chairs to soak up the views in between reading a book (which didn't get a look in with them views of the sea, town and natural surroundings). The town is in walking distance so it was perfect for us to pop in and out easily only a short 10min walk and the town itself has everything you would need and more even in Jan it was buzzing with live music & lots of craic! Gerry the host of Fab view was an absolute gent provided us with the best welcome and was always available to answer out many questions around where to go for food, drinks, & the best spots to see. There is just so much to say about this stay the decore and attention to detail was 100/10 it made our stay so homely, comfortable & I can honestly say took our breaths away. I'll absolutely be back!!
