Two night stay. Pretty much in the centre of Dieppe. Free parking out the front of the hotel which is sea facing. Spotless room & furnishing. Really friendly staff too. Can’t do enough for you. They do provide breakfast & there is a bar although we just decided to spend time in the town. Really comfy bed and wet room type shower. Don’t park at the rear these bays are pay for bays & we saw traffic wardens many times. You are minutes away ( on foot), from bars & restaurants in Dieppe. Great value for money. Can thoroughly recommend. Thank you

We had an amazing stay at the Aguado hotel in Dieppe. The rooms were spotless and cozy, making it easy to feel at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure a great experience, including at breakfast. The hotel's location is unbeatable, right on the seafront with stunning ocean views. It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking to enjoy Dieppe's charm and beauty. Highly recommended!

Stayed just for one night. However, wished we'd stayed a little longer. Very nice bright room with a large bathroom, very clean. Lovely reception staff. We did not have breakfast although we will next time. Looking forward to rebooting soon

Quite a wonderful experience. Not the first time that we have stayed here and it won't be the last First surprise was that we were upgraded from a standard city view room, to a wonderful large, seaview room. Smart, clean, comfortable and very enjoyable to be in. The staff here are very polite, very friendly, very helpful and very efficient The hotel is very conveniently situated by the seafront and easy walking distance from the best restaurants, cafes, bars and places of interest Just a great place to stay, in a wonderful little town

Don't be put off by the dated appearance, its almost retro now. Plainly well maintained, spotlessly clean, good sized room with a large bathroom. Staff very pleasant. We had to leave early so cannot comment on the food but I'm sure it will be good. Very comfortable bed, high quality sheets and pillow cases, all round better than I thought it would be.

We had a change of our planned french holiday with only two days notice of our departure. To call it a scramble to find elsewhere would be an understatement. The gods shined on us. We found a hotel in a perfect location that could accommodate us for five nights. We sailed into Dieppe and a short drive found us in the hotel. A lovely and genuine warm welcome was received. We had accessibility issues and we were told when booking that all would be ok but we were still apprehensive. Our room was on the 4th floor, no problem there is a lift. Our room was overlooking the sea and was easily big enough for us. The bathroom was perfect for our issues and gleaming. It was spotlessley clean and whoever made the beds were from a bygone era, they were immaculately made up. Our first night (and subsequent nights) we slept for over 8 hours, the bed was really comfortable. We opted for breakfast each day despite the plethera of restaurants/cafes nearby. Well worth it. Cereals/fruit juices, fresh fruit, yoghurt, various breads, selection of cooked meats, various cheeses, croissants, pain chocolat, various coffees and teas, toaster and expresso machine, the works, and as much as you can eat (which was a lot). The smiling staff member was in constant attendance, topping up where necessary. Throughout our stay we encountered many members of staff and they were unfailingly and naturally (no fake smiles) friendly. Bearing in mind other reviews were we lucky, I think not, this level of service does not come without hard work and training. The decor was not to our tastes (how many houses do you visit where you do like the decor?) but it was immaculately clean. Be aware that there are two huge fields in front of the hotel which are frequently used for local/regional events which will put pressure on the many hundreds of free parking spaces that are available. We arrived at the start of the biggest event of the year, a huge two week fair with nearly a hundred rides, not our cup of tea but we slept soundly with the windows open. We will definitely stay here again.

Made mistake of coming to Dieppe on the Kite Festival week or I should say mistake was the bedroom at the Aguado. The kites were fun. The photos show modern decor and finishes yet our top floor city facing room was shabby and dated. The carpets in the halls and stairways were truly awful reminiscent of a B and B in Blackpool 30 years ago. 170 Euros a night was a rip off for this standard. Won't be coming back. Shame as is in enviable position.

This was our second visit. The staff are so welcoming, it's like coming home. It was my partner's birthday, so I had organised champagne for our room. The champagne was ready and waiting, they had also upgraded us to a room with a sea view free of charge. Thank Hotel Aguado for making our stay so special.

This hotel is ideally located between beach and port area. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and breakfast offers a good choice including regional specialties. But what really impressed us was the kind welcoming service at the reception, offering valuable advice about interesting things to visit, such as the Saturday morning market in the Grande Rue. Great place for a weekend stay !

The hotel is very clean and the staff are etremely hard working. The rooms are small and so are the beds but they are quite comfortable for a few days but not, I think for a longer stay. It is a relatively expensive hotel but represents value for money and the breakfast is excellent. The Wifi is very poor - peut mieux faire... Which brings me to....the distressing/bad part of our stay...on three occasions we saw and heard the owner criticise staff in public once and twice berate staff in front of us. Once in the breakfast room....oh, this person, asleep...hasn't done their job (we could see nothing wrong) and twice in the reception area... the first time this person berated someone behind the desk for not having the newspaper available; the second time it was a tirade about having worked in the hotel business for 40 years and being surrounded by incompetents. If a manager or owner has a problem with a member of staff they should deal with it in private. It's a big responsibility owning a hotel if you really care...this person really does care but rather too much and too insistently. What we witnessed was like Fawlty Towers but worse or in a French context a farce played out on stage in the Theatre des Boulevards. I hope the Aguado takes note....pas devant les clients SVP!!! I stayed in the Aguado over 20 years ago and it has retained its charm (in the main). I liked it so much I told my parents to go and they loved it too. I don't think I want to go back if the owner behaves like that in public....particularly when it appeared to be a very well run hotel in so many ways. I have never, ever seen such behaviour in a hotel in all my travels and my partner and I were shocked by it.

Having just returned fom Dieppe and the International Chess Tournament, I would like to say it was a pleasure, once again, to stay at Hotel Aguado. Everything is first-class, and in my opinion it is deserving of another star, being under rated at 3 star.

Que dire de cet Hôtel mythique de Dieppe où j'ai eu plaisir à revenir de nombreuses années après mon dernier passage. La qualité de l' accueil, de la chambre spacieuse et des services toujours proposés depuis plusieurs générations n'a d'égal que sa position idéalement située entre le port, les commerces et restaurants d'un côté et la mer à la vue imprenable de l'autre. Petit déjeuner classique avec des produits frais (je recommande le Caramel de Pomme Dieppois) En prime inclus dans le prix pour le chanceux que j'ai été, un splendide coucher de soleil à couper le souffle et un visiteur du soir peu farouche... Endroit à découvrir ou redécouvrir et à apprécier à sa juste valeur! Merci

Encore un moment très agréable dans cette Hôtel de classe,le décor est très sympa histoire de Dieppe,ainsi que la saga des créateurs de cet établissement, très bien illustrés par un artiste de talent, décidément beaucoup de goût, bravo à la Direction à bientôt

Convenable chambre tres propre et personnel au top tres bien conseillé pour le petit petit-déjeuner. Hotel situé proche de beaucoup de restaurants et accès a la plage de galet tres simple visite des magnifique eglise absolument a voir .tres bon sejour
