오텔 치니우

Hotel Chiniu was the perfect place for our April family vacation. The hotel is located right at the beach and is a magical place to watch the sunrise, swim during the day, and is safe to walk even at night. We had a room with air conditioning that slept four people, there was one queen-sized bed and two twin beds. The sleeping quarters were separated from the bathroom and shower area which was not air-conditioned but was perfect for drying bathing suits and towels at night. We had wifi in the room but the wifi near the bar/restaurant area was very fast in comparison. Each morning we enjoyed an included breakfast of which the menu slightly changed each day but included fresh juice, coffee or hot chocolate, a fresh fruit plate as well as eggs and arepas. The hotel staff were very friendly to us and accommodated our needs during lunch times, dinners, sweet breaks in the afternoon and cocktails at night. We also arranged a tour through the hotel to visit the Rio Palomino. The tour company was on time and very professional and our local guide was very knowledgeable about the river. One caveat is we should have brought more sunblock or sun clothing for the long beautiful float down the river. On our last day the sunrise was breathtaking and we were able to get a view of the La Sierra Nevada, and Pico Colon and Pico Bolivar. We also met the owners on our last day there who were very friendly and made sure we knew we were welcome back in the future. We had a memorable vacation and felt so safe and comfortable while there.

Stayed 5 nights in the Chiniu Hotel in August and loved the hotel. Beautiful setting with two lovely pools. For once the hotel and pools were actually better in reality than depicted in the photos. Great beach right on the doorstep. Food was OK, not brilliant. Breakfast was a bit stingy as they charge for water or extra coffee. Availed of the Hotel Taxi service from Ever a few times and he was very friendly, reliable and reasonably priced.

We received a recommendation from a friend on this hotel. It was a super nice experience. In front of the beach with the sound of the waves. Nice and variety food in a lovely restaurant. Service is always around you. Thank you Oliverio for your kind attention and also from your team

Just as announced, quiet environment and decent local food. We went in high season, large group and stay all days on the hotel, plenty of resources for kids and family to play. Beach is not For swimming, just For the photos. Tons of birds around the place.

Hôtel complètement surévalué. Très mauvais rapport qualité prix. Hôtel mal entretenu et vétuste, personnel désagréable, petit déjeuner basique, pas d’eau chaude, à 20mn à pied de Palomino. Pour le même prix vous pouvez avoir un hôtel incroyable dans les terres. Palomino est très pauvre, route en terre, à peine quelques restaurants je ne recommande pas.

Très beau site bien entretenu. Loin de la cohue de la calle 4 tout en y étant rapidement accessible à pieds. Service courtois et employés dévoués. Variété de déjeuners un peu pauvre et eau chaude dans la douche occasionnelle. Autrement tout est parfait.
