Kiha Beach was undoubtedly one of the most incredible places I've ever had the pleasure of staying at. I cherished every single moment there. The staff was phenomenal, always on hand to assist with anything we needed, and the views from the balcony were breathtaking. However, the highlight was undoubtedly the food: a daily feast of delectable dishes, prepared and served by an exceptional team of chefs and waitstaff. I'm thrilled we decided on Kiha Beach for our stay. I'm eagerly looking forward to returning soon, especially for the Manta Rays season!

Stayed in a deluxe room with balcony for 4 nights for ~USD140/night. LOCATION I came to the Maldives for manta rays and for this purpose Dharavandhoo is perfect, only takes about 15 minutes by boat to get to where the mantas congregate. As for location of the hotel, Dharavandhoo is a small island so location doesn’t matter much. ARRIVAL Hotel will send a golf buggy to pick up guests from the airport. If there are a few guests arriving at the same time, check-in will take a little while but no problem since not in a hurry. ROOM Room is decent size, everything clean, aircon is strong which is important given the hot and humid weather. Bedding is reasonably comfortable. TV signal didn’t work when I arrived but they got someone to come fix it a few hours later, it was ok for rest of the stay. Wifi stable and fast enough for streaming and also uploading all my mobile pics and videos onto cloud. FOOD Breakfast is good, eggs cooked to order, love the hash brown. I had a few lunches and dinners, have to say the food was pretty disappointing overall. Chicken satay was so dry that even having it with the sauce didn’t help much, the fish was bland with not enough sauce, then the broccoli and beef was way too salty. Tuna sandwich and the pizza were decent. Most meals were around USD20 including 26% tax. I was expecting quite a few seafood main courses on the menu and was quite surprised at the lack of it. A la carte can take quite a while but you can order in advance. EXCURSIONS I did 4 manta ray excursions with the hotel during my stay, each manta swim is USD60 (no tax). You basically wait for the reception to call then head down to the lobby and rest is taken care of. You can borrow snorkel set and life jacket for no additional charges. On the first 2 excursions, there weren’t that many manta but the experience was lovely as there weren’t that many other people in the water. On the day where there were a lot of manta (I counted 50 manta within 50 seconds in one of my videos!), it was an absolute mayhem as there were a lot of people and a lot were kicking and you could barely move around, not Kiha Beach’s fault but just so others are aware. Still worth it though for that spectacular sight. Everyone is only allowed 45 minutes in water, the guide will keep track of time and remind you when it’s time to get back to the boat. They have different size boats depending on how many guests from the hotel are doing this, they were all easy to get back on. One thing I wasn’t aware or beforehand was there’s some sort of system for Hanifaru Bay where priority is given to local islands and resort islands on different days. So if you really want to see the manta madness. it’s best to stay a few days and do as many excursions as possible to increase your chances. After one of the manta swims, the guide heard about a whale shark nearby. We were asked whether we wish to go swim with it. There will be extra charges for those who wish to go into the water. Unfo

Отдыхали в отеле в конце ноября с друзьями, отель самый крайний на острове, пока, все номера с видом на океан, номера немного уставшие, особенно душевая, но не критично.... Каждый день пополняется питьевая вода и ноборы для чая и кофе.Полотенца меняют каждый день- не вижу в этом необходимости( я за экологию), пляжные полотенца оставляют тоже каждый день у номера- очень удобно, в номере утюг и гладильная доска.Отзывчивый и доброжелательный персонал, попросили номер на 3 этаже- без проблем, брали только завтраки- выбор есть всегда, но, почти, каждый день одно и то же, один раз заказывали ужин- фирменную пиццу и фреши- готовят вкусно, мне не хватало папайи и манго, и в магазине не было выбора- завоз был перед отъездом... Отельный риф - плавали часами- скаты, акулы рифовые, много рыб, в один день приплывала черепаха, заход в океан лучше в спец. обуви- об этом писали... Сам остров небольшой- обойти можно за 15 минут, есть пара местных кафе, несколько магазинчиков, школа, госпиталь, мечети... Ужинали в ресторане Криль- рекомендую- кухня достойная, обслуживание, порции большие.... Тунец на гриле- можно на 2х одну порцию - вполне хватит, но недешево....на Мальдивах, видимо, дёшево не бывает... экскурсию брали только снорклинг с мантами....впечатляет.... просто восторг!!! Напротив отеля построен новый отель- отделка закончена и сан. техника подведена- хороший дизайн, номера, правда смотрят на джунгли- никто не знает, как будет называться, также два этажа- номера, на перврм будет ресепшн, ресторан и бассейн... Интересно какой будет ценник... Если вы любите плавать с маской и наслаждаться тишиной покоем и океаном- то не ошибетесь при выборе данного отеля и острова.... Хотя проживание можно найти дешевле- рядом гест. хауз... пляжем отеля можно пользоваться...и экскурсии в гест. хаузе дешевле.... Пишу- и прям Ностальжи.... Хочется вернуться.....

We had a wonderful time. The first day it seemed so quiet, we wondered what we had done but then we developed a rapport with Ali and his staff who were attentive to our every need. We hadn't realised the island was alcohol free but fortunately there was a yacht with a bar just 200m from the beach that we could go to every evening. We began snorkelling every morning along the breakwall and found an abundance of marine life from turtles to reef sharks to the cow tail and eagle rays, along with a huge range of large tropical fish. We also went fishing and caught a large red snapper which the chef cooked for us. The highlight of our trip was the four manta snorkels dives we went on. It was amazing swimming so close to these beautiful, large, gentle creatures -- such an unforgettable experience. The food at Kihaa Beach was excellent with a variety of European and Maldivian food for both breakfast and dinner, while nothing was too much trouble for the hard working staff at the hotel who went out of their way to meet all our needs and give us the best experience possible. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Make sure to take some cash to tip the very hard working staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Kihaa Beach.

We were at Kiha ro see mantas. We live in Maldives and been vouple of local islands. Kiha beach hotel has very good quality i cleanliness, service, facilities etc. Good WiFi, good breakfast (comparing to local islands), able to use bug in transportations without extra fee, awesome beach, good location, ok restaurant in the hotel, clean pool (not so big). They were very friendly towards kids also, we can really recommend this hotel to everyone regardless the situation (holiday, business, sigle, family, couple).

Despite having to cut our trip shortly due to a family bereavement, we had 3 incredible and unforgettable days at Kiha. Starting with the pick up from the airport in a small golf cart, first time for everything, every member of staff went out of their way to make our trip, including the reception staff, the excursions organiser and the staff at meal times. This has the feel of being a small, family run hotel, where they really care. The food was excellent but not the gluttony fest of other larger hotels and resorts. The rooms are clean and modern, the beach is running and quiet and the pool is a bonus. The trips to Hanifaru are obviously a highlight, we packed in 3 trips in 3 days along with a bonus night time swim with Whale Sharks. Note, the trips are about one fifth the price of exactly the same trip on the private islands ! Finally, faced with the need to cut short our trip, change our flights and get to Male ASAP, the team did everything to help. All in all, we loved our stay here and only wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks to all !!!
