Derby CC (Cathedral Quarter)

그래서 우리는 병원 예약 전에 여러 번 여기에 머물렀습니다(여기까지 오려면 3시간의 이동이 필요합니다). 일반적으로 우리는 도시에서 외식을 하지만 이번에는 현장에 있는 백리향 레스토랑에서 식사하기로 결정했습니다. 우리는 실망하지 않았습니다! Steph와 John은 매우 예의 바르고 예의바르며 우리에게 Meal Deal에 대해 설명하고 질문에 답해주었습니다. 나는 스테이크와 에일 파이를 먹었고, 아내는 피쉬 앤 칩(좋은 대구 조각)을 먹었습니다. 두 식사 모두 정말 맛있었습니다. 우리 둘 다 새우 칵테일 스타터를 먹었는데 거기에는 사랑스러운 큰 새우가 들어 있었습니다(보통 먹는 작은 칵테일 새우와는 다릅니다). 우리는 서비스를 잘못할 수 없었습니다. 방은 사랑스러웠고, 큰 TV, 사랑스럽고 편안한 침대, 크고 푹신한 이불이 있었습니다. 깨끗하고 온수 샤워가 좋습니다. 다음날 아침 뷔페 식 아침 식사는 훌륭하고 훌륭하며 품질이 좋은 재료와 훌륭한 커피였습니다. 그리고 보안 주차장이 바로 길 건너편에 있으며, 비용은 24시간 기준 £4.50입니다(호텔에 묵으시는 경우 £3.75로 할인됩니다). 전체적으로, 머물기 좋은 숙소입니다. 잘 하셨습니다 스테파니님과 존님, 당신은 최고의 아이였습니다. 케이크 !

Staff friendly, clean and reasonable hotel, good location, meals were tasty and of a good standard. Breakfast up to standard. Steff, Lyle and Callum made my stay a lot better than it could have been - Lyle running reception and restaurant at the same time, but still managing to sort needs - overheard he was only recently started, so very good! Lyle and Callum sorted out food allergies/intolerance on a busy night for the chef, really appreciated that, as it meant I could sleep well! Steff sorted out another night where I wanted to eat in my room, good food, packaged well so I could take it up! Room clean and tidy, serviced when requested. Bathroom clean. If a company is expensing their stay with you, it would be very good to find out about charging the card before the guest arrives at the hotel. Left waiting in the lobby, concerned that I wouldn't have a room having arrived up in Derby. Check in was a 55 minute hassle due to issues of authorisation.. sort it out sooner, please!! Staff are doing far too much, and having to serve the restaurant and the reception desk simultaneously. This has caused issues with the quality they can provide for both - so, keep the excellent staff you have, but hire more. The restaurant ended up understaffed on the last night to the extent of a 45 minute delay on new orders, then long waits for food. Small issues with security, again due to overstretched staff. People waiting outside the lifts with no proof of staying at the hotel, had no way to avoid them tailgating. Perhaps another key card lock on the door before the lifts/stairs? Shower in room and lighting in bathroom were needing maintenance, raised this at the end of my stay with someone newly on shift. They were not as friendly and helpful as Steph, Lyle and Callum had been during the week, and the response from this other member of staff felt more like a 'see if I care' than 'thanks for helping us be our best'. Food prices are a lot, I was glad I'm expensing these meals.. If you give your staff one role or the other, restaurant OR reception, it will improve the quality of the guest experience. Was glad that I felt comfortable to stay as a solo traveller at this hotel, some struggle with the concept of travelling for business alone!

This really is everything you need for a great rest after a hectic journey. A nice clean room and ensuite. with tv, hairdryer, and facilities to make hot drinks.

This was the main hotel of our roadtrip to Derby and back. When we contacted the hotel we asked for a quiet room. This did not happen. We were given a room near an exit door so had noise every time someone came through. At 11.30pm, a family went by noisily to the extent that I put my head round the door to see what was happening. I received an apology. Our room was way too hot - we couldn't adjust the aircon. When we trudged to reception to report this, the receptionist told us he would adjust it to 18 degrees as this could be done from his location. Nothing happened and we had a hot, uncomfortable night. Next day we asked for a change of room. The young woman on reception was unapologetic and didn't seem to want to change our room for somewhere more comfortable. She told us she would call us if / when she could do this. She did achieve this but her phone manner could have been better - it felt like we were being awkward (which we're not!). Things changed very much for the better when we returned to the hotel. There was someone else on reception called Steph, who was cheerful, proactive and friendly. She had arranged a room for us on the sixth floor with aircon that worked and a good view as well. After that, we regularly saw her around the place and she always had a smile and a 'hello'. The remaining days of our stay were so much more enjoyable and we really appreciated our visit to Derby. One thing to watch out for is parking. There is a multi-storey car park opposite and you do get a discount from Premier Inn for using it. The big downside is that it has circular ramps between each level which our very narrow. We just about managed it in our people carrier, but drivers of SUVs would struggle to drive up them. Location wise - the hotel couldn't be better situated in the city centre. The cathedral and Museum of Making are five minutes walk away, as are the shops.

Excellent hotel. Rooms were comfy and quiet and breakfast was excellent with a wide choice. Staff were really helpful. Situated in a great area of the city with museum, cathedral and lots of cafe’s nearby. Paid parking opposite is handy in a multi storey facility.

Room 308 was too hot. The air condition wasn't working so didn't sleep well like Lenny Henry says you do. Bathroom stank of drains and the sink had paint drips in it. Staff polite, Breakfast ok.

The staff was wonderful and friendly. They had very comfortable beds and the rooms were quiet at night. The breakfast had a great selection of foods and beverages. I participated in their meal plan program. The servers were very accommodating and the food was delicious.

We had a great stay we found the staff to be very helpful, when we wanted to had breakfast to our stay it was no trouble at all we needed more towels same again not a problem I had made more than one booking as we were there for my son's wedding
