Travelodge Derby Cricket Ground

Tha staff we're friendly very helpful. The place spotless. There's not a lot more I can possibly say but I'll be back and I would recommend this travelodge too anyone.

First room allocated and the tv didn’t work but staff kindly moved me to another room. Unfortunately the next morning at 8:30am there were workmen in the corridor replacing the ceiling tiles so there was loud hammering, drilling and sawing. The hotel manager refunded me 1 night stay but I don’t understand why they would use the rooms if there was repairs going on. Leaving the room I had to step over paint pots and tools.

I came here in October when it was warm and the hotel is colder then outside and I have to use a blow heater to keep warm every one has been complaining about the room close plus they have damp in the room over the ac machine to were I don’t with to use the AC machine for the damp to go in my lungs

Just had a 3 night stay and I must admit this is the best Travelodge I have stayed at it is in a quiet location opposite Derby cricket ground and next to a health centre hub we had the accessible room which was perfect a walk in shower room is ideal when you have walking needs

Visited Derby for the Museums and Cathedral. Was able to park early before check-in and a 20 minute walk got me to the centre of the city to visit the main museum, Museum of Making and the Cathedral. All excellent venues.

Rooms are very clean and comfortable and receptionists are very friendly and helpful, always made to feel welcome. Parking is still free which is really good. I was given a room with a view of the cricket pitch on this visit. Food served from 5pm which was also good. Will choose to stay again when I’m next in Derby.

Enjoyed the stay - had a lovely and fairly cheap (by today's standards) evening meal. Pizzas are huge - and pudding was excellent. Some guy took his meal to his room though and bunged his leftovers out in the corridor where it stayed all night (most unsightly and a bit smelly). Not Travelodges' fault though - because why didn't he take his leftovers back to the dining room! Staff were very pleasant - I would stay again - maybe for the cricket if I got a even numbered room of course!

The location of the hotel was great alongside the City Centre and everything ran efficiently we has no complaints the Hotel and room were in good condition and very clean. The staff were very polite and efficiency and we really enjoyed our stay we have stayed here before and no doubt will be staying again in the future.

Fantastic check in by Amy and Kiera, very welcoming and let us know about the food and drink deals. Room was clean and tidy. Came down for food and drinks in the evening where we met Asha who served us drinks and food, the food was great and was good value for money. Overall it was a great stay, will be coming again!
