더 호텔 바이 골드 더스트(The Hotel by Gold Dust)

The hotel staff was great , the only issue we had was the person next to us slamming their door every time they went in or out !! But all in all it was a nice stay on our way home !

Property was very nice and updated. Rooms were kinda small. Breakfast was a plus but wasn’t great.

The room was small with a king size bed. The parking lot used by the hotel was full, so we had to find another place to park a short distance away. The breakfast was adequate, but heavy on the pancakes and pastries.

It’s a decent one night stop over. Nothing special. I would have like a small gym. Not here to gamble. Just a stop in the road and wanted to check out Deadwood.

We loved our stay at the Gold Dust, nice tall ceilings in our room, spacious shower, comfortable bed with excellent views of downtown Deadwood! Perfect stay!!

It was a convenient place to stay as it was close to all stores and restaurants. The room was a little small for a king size bed

Overall a very nice place, but the room was incredibly small. It was a single queen bed and the room consisted of literally 2.5 feet around each edge of the bed. No desk/worksurface, coffee maker was stuffed below the bathroom sink. I highly suspect this was the room they give to anyone not booking direct, but because of it, I will probably never stay here again.

upon arrival to my room the temperature was very comfortable. I was somewhat disappointed that bathroom had not exhaust fan either because sometimes my husband can stink up the bathroom & it definitely helps clear the air:) However it was not a deal breaker for me, however the AC unit was... After a short time, the room became much warmer as noticed that the air had shut off. I tried literally every possible setting, button, option, temps, on the "Climate Controlled Air Conditioning" wall unit to no avail and eventually resorted to opening the window. I dont know if the property controls the temp or what but I prefer to sleep in a room in which i can adjust the temperature to suit my preference. For this reason i will not stay again. $275.66 is too much to pay for just ONE night in a hot, stuffy room with no ventilation.

Nice clean room that was fairly large. Didn’t like that I Had to park 2 blocks away where had to punch in a code for arm to go up to drive in. Lot was almost full with just 1-2 spots open, as lot seemed safe even though sign says park at your own risk. Desk clerk wanted to sell me some dinner & ****** free play coupon, but never told me where their restaurant was, as I never did find it on my own. So we ate at other ******s which was ok. The free breakfast the hotel had was ok, but most of time the pancake batter machine didn’t work, and had some cereal, but not the kind I liked.
