Palm Wings Kusadasi Beach Resort&Spa

Visited Palm Wings Beach Resort for a week in October 2023 with my partner. Out of season, however we still had an enjoyable experience. Hotel itself was lovely, clean and well maintained. In short - main reason for 3/5 is mainly due to the extremely poor and disappointing entertainment & animation team, and the somewhat mediocre food served. Room: We had a regular room was always cleaned every day by the cleaners, who always said hello every morning. We was very lucky to have a stunning sea-view where we watched the sun set most nights. HOWEVER - Our door looked to have been kicked in previously and fixed on the cheap - this concerned us a little but still locked. Staff: The staff at the hotel were mostly extremely friendly and helpful - however some were notably miserable and few bar staff were rude at times. I heard a few couples complain about them during our stay. Hotel: The hotel was lovely and clean and the green areas were watered daily. Pool area was nice however blasted loud music during most of the day - which was okay however repeated the same music. The hotel had a kids area and slides, which looked quite good. Food & drinks: Food was a bit hit & miss. I did enjoy a lot of the food however I did notice that some nights the chicken was quite pink - my partner didn’t want to eat some meats as she was pregnant at the time of travel & didn’t want to take any risks. The grill was nice most nights however did not even see it until 5 days in as it was very tucked away from the rest of the food buffet. Deserts were very nice & baklava was so gorgeous! Drinks were ok - but cocktails were watered down, but that’s to be expected. ‘Entertainment’: The entertainment was honestly abysmal and is the main reason for 3/5. Don’t get me wrong, for a few nights we had really good entertainment - especially the African dancers and Turkish night. However to say a RAFFLE is entertainment for one night is a joke. This happened twice and these raffle tickets are sold at 10 euro for 2. For the prises too, this is a rip off. Since the raffle ‘entertainment’ we skipped watching it half-way through the holiday and instead played in the games room - which was very good! The entertainment team was also quite rubbish. I understand that it was close to closing period (Nov-Jan I think), they did not seem bothered and put 0 effort into encouraging people to get involved! ALSO - NO DAYTIME ENTERTAINMENT APART FROM DARTS! On the TUI website, we was told water sports - netball, water aerobics etc but none of this happened. Was very disappointed with this and left us with a ‘nothing to do’ feeling in the evenings after food. OVERALL - We did not regret this holiday as we did enjoy it, however we’re left disappointed by the entertainment & average food.

Spa rep (kagan) very nice person didn't force you to go for the spa but explained it and what was included and me and my daughter loved it. Best part of the holiday and he was very helpful. He made our holiday complete. Enjoyed every bit of the holiday. Thank you

Such a great hotel. I came with all my family and we love it so much. The food is excellent and you have a good selection for everyone.Also the animation team is great make u feel so comfortable and have so much fun, their are so many activities threw out the day. Mario, Romeo and Sterling were the main animators for me and my family and we loved them so much made the holiday so much better. I really recommend this hotel to families and groups of friends.

We arrived very late at night but even so the reception and bellboys were super friendly and helpful. We were taken to our room in C block, we had booked a swim-up room which was spotless. The bathroom had a large double shower and large sink area for your toiletries. The room had a fridge which was stocked with soft drinks, perfect for relaxing on your large terrace and having a swim. The room had Aircon but the room didn't hold the heat in and was my mostly lovely and cool without using it too much. The buffet was beautiful, stocked with an array of hot and cold foods, we never got bored of the choice. The salad was so fresh with a great choice of dressings. Be warned the little chillies on the buffet are extremely spicy! I made the mistake of putting one in whole, I thought my time was up, and wished I'd gotten my affairs in order. Much to the amusement of my very sympathetic husband. We enjoyed time around the pool and on the beach, you can take drinks from the hotel onto the beach area as it's literally a stones throw away. Plenty of beach activities, however we didn't partake but enjoyed watching other people on the banana boats and jet skies. The animation team are very very good too, engaging with you from the pool area, restaurant, and beach. We didn't join in with in the activities but had a good laugh watching others do things such as pool games, aqua gym, and water polo. We enjoyed relaxing on the roof terrace under one of the big umbrellas in the afternoon to escape some sun. The bar staff worked very hard and we're very friendly. In fact all the team were excellent in all areas. We didn't meet an unhappy one. On my birthday night we enjoyed a beautiful Mexican meal, the a la carte restaurants can be used once for free on your holiday, or you can pay for any extras. The food was exceptional. The snack bar has excellent choice also from burgers and pizzas to donner kebabs. There is a little aqua park on site which lots of children looked like they were enjoying, however not taking our children with us on this occasion, we didn't partake. However there are lots for children to do and we are thinking of booking a family holiday next year to this hotel. All in all, one of the best holidays I've had. Beautiful area with mountains, clear blue see, and such a relaxing atmosphere. We will be back.

This hotel is not anywhere near Kusadasi it’s a 30 min taxi ride. Restaurant disorganized and food cold. Lack of choice for drinks and cocktails. Average entertainment held outside with no tables and bar service. Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel.

this is the first time i’ve visited palm wings , and it’s so good . the food is lovely , there’s a big selection and there is basically food 24/7 . The staff are what make it so great , especially the animation team ( romeo & mario , stealing ) they are full of conversation with all the guests and always start the day with a good morning and always make everyone laugh . i would definitely come back .

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel, the animation team were fantastic and went out off their way to provide fun entertainment day and night. On our final evening there was a 80’s/90’s disco and all of the animation team got involved and led the party with enthusiasm and evident passion for their work.

I can't understand how this hotel has so many positive reviews? It was suggested on other reviews that staff and friends of write alot of the reviews, but obviously don't know if it's true. Right where shall I start? The hotel and grounds are very pleasant and extremely well kept and tidy. The room we has was fine on the 2nd attempt, we changed room on day 2, due to a horrible view and shockingly inept shower. This hotel is in the middle of a residential area and alot of inland views overlook local homes and miles from anywhere. The pool is spacious and loads of sunbeds available even in the late morning. The water temperature was fine once you got used to it. The beach area is fine although the sea was very choppy due to the strong winds so we didn't go in the sea..... Ok now the bad points.... The food in the main restaurant is appalling, other reviews have described it as luke warm, I would go as far to say most dishes are not even that hot... we witnessed people using the microwave. Everyday we actually ate in the snack bar so we could get hot food. We go all inclusive with our holidays so we can enjoy nice food and drink and all the local cuisine on offer. Sadly here we have been unable to enjoy any of the food in the main restaurant due to the temperature of the food. Absolutely shocking as this hotel is supposed to be a 4/5 star and the standard of food is nowhere near that. Breakfast is a mixture of cold eggs and leftovers from the night before ( veg and mashed potatoes??) I had breakfast cereal most mornings as nothing else was appealing. We never ate lunch in the main restaurant. We A majority of the staff are quite rude and the service non existent at times. I actually thought I was invisible at times, as I was ignored. Obviously this is only my opinion on the hotel so people can make their own mind up. We would 100% not stay here again nor recommend it to anybody. It's a real shame as we were really looking forward to a lovely week of all inclusive that we have been used to with all our previous holidays, unfortunately this hotel is nowhere near standard.

Fantastic holiday at Palm Wings Beach Resort and Spa. From the second we walked through the doors we were impressed by the the look of the place. Absolutely spotless. Helpful reception and bell boys. Nice little bar in the lobby and a games room. Lovely rooms, I just booked standard but it was spacious, clean and comfortable. Maybe it would be an idea to change the bedside cabinets for ones with more drawer space. Lovely bathroom with big shower cubicle. Fridge stocked with soft drinks and water. Beautiful gardens. What struck me about this place was the attention to detail. There was a gardener there daily lovingly attending to the grounds, cleaners day and night making sure everything was clean and tidy and bins were emptied, there was even a guy on the private beach dusting sand off the sunbeds and straightening them into neat lines! Lovely big pool with separate kids bit on the other side with slides. Next to this was the adult water slides which were fun. Loads of sunbeds. Outdoor snack bar was great, little pizzas, hot dogs, pasta, salad, burgers. Stall with ice cream and Turkish woman making bread. We didn't really use the shop but it looked well stocked. Large main buffet restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. We loved the food, very fresh, tasty, well presented. Lots of choice. Chefs cooking fresh stuff and joint of the day. Chef carved off what you wanted. We loved the beef en croute. Upstairs there's a large indoor seating area with a coffee shop and cake counter. Then you walk out onto the roof terrace bar. Great view of the nightly shows from up there, and beautiful sunsets over the sea. On this level are the A La Carte restaurants. We managed to book the Italian and it was fabulous, 4 courses. Book early on in your stay if you want to eat in one of these. We used the outside bar near the exit to the beach alot for water and soft drinks. Beach is lovely with lots of sunbeds. Very shallow water, great for kids as you have to walk quite a long way out before you're up to you knees in seawater. Water sports on the beach. Path and separate cycle lane which goes for miles if you fancy a long stroll or a bike ride. Bust stop right outside the hotel on the opposite side of the road into Kusadasi, number 34. There's usually a man there with a radio who'll help you get to Shere you want to go. Big market on Wednesdays in kusadasi, A few little supermarkets in the area if you want sweets, snacks cigs etc. We found the WiFi very good. So if you want a hotel/beach based holiday then this place is ideal. We really enjoyed our stay there. Thank you to all the staff for making our holiday wonderful.
