Excellnt stay and wondeful location. Kind of old property with old furniture. Other positives outcome this. Stay was pleasant and walkable to mall road. Enjoyed the food and timely service. Harish dining hall supervisor made sure our dining experience was great. Food taste was good and fresh.

It's just not a stay .. it's an experience and you have to stay there for the experience. Excellent location and couldn't find anything to comment even negative about it. In the lap of Mahakal temple and overlooking the mall.. every iconic place of Darjeeling is in 2 mins walking distance from the property. Amazing views from rooms and common areas..

If you want a truly unique heritage experience then this is the property. As per us it is the best place to stay in a of Darjeeling, the staff is impeccable, service tip notch and the property absolutely beautiful. This will always be our home in Darjeeling

Had a good heritage feel of the place as suggested. Food was the best. Chef Saroj and staff praneesh had taken best care in serving all cuisines as requested stay was memorable. Surely, will visit Darjeeling and windamere again. Thank you very much.

Great property..…live fire place takes u to British era…amazing view and super hospitality but need improvement on breakfast spread..staff very friendly but very poor food options ..veg is too limited and poor in taste …no fresh juice no veg live counters … Apart of food everything is amazing

It was a beautiful property overlooking the valley.We had the suite room with a fabulous views of Chowrasta.The location of hotel makes it convenient to walk the Mall Road and local sightseeing.The food and the service were very good we had a great Dinning staff Anup and Soroj was very kind and polite and makes us very happy with excellent service........@kapil

Our experience at the Windamere Darjeeling was exceptional. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and thoughtful amenities made our family vacation truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming staff made us feel right at home. The check-in process was swift and efficient. Rooms are well maintained and immaculately clean. Special mention to Ashish Khaling, Reservation Manager. His passion for the hotel’s history and heritage was evident as he shared fascinating stories about the resort's origins and its significance . He showed us around the beautiful property, highlighting historical landmarks that we would have otherwise missed. This helped us to understand the history and heritage of the property in a nice way. We left with fond memories and a desire to return on our next vacation.

Had a Lovely stay in a well maintained heritage property. Great location next to Mall Road. Could walk directly into mahakal temple. Harish and Jamuna made the stay pleasant. The food was great but menu is a bit limited, would suggest to ask the restaurant directly. They’re very prompt and compliant.
