Hi this is Nayan pro and events dharwad ....recent we had an event in this resort it was one of the best event we had over here...the venue is best superb the staff oh wow very co operative and nice soft and gentle...what ever we de***ded it was in mins solved....the entire property is such a nice one .... Thank you everyone keep it up thank you so much...hope come back soon.....to work here and enjoy the event we again host here...

Very Very horrible staff in this place as i suggest never ever to visit with your family or friends here again ratan is really horrible person at service dont know how to talk and has zero tolerance behaviour I request plz don't visit to this place

One of the horror nigh**ares experienced ever had in my life RATAN was very unprofessional and had a very rude behaviour towards the guest. Very poor and pathetic service I would request ***agement to take a serious action against this person (RATAN).

This is an excellent resort in the hills. From the moment we arrived we were made welcome. Our accommodation (premier executive bungalow was modern clean and comfortable. The activities on site are ***y and varied, including the lovely Kali river. The restaurant food was tasty and plentiful. The restaurant was very clean. We are from the U.K. and have travelled extensively. Whistling Woodz is a lovely environment and the staff polite and very helpful. There is only one constructive comment I would make. Why life jackets for the swimming pool? Massage recommended. Loved it.

This is an excellent adventure retreat. Accommodation (premier executive cottage was spacious clean and comfortable). Staff could not be more helpful and friendly. Food was very good, authentic Indian cuisine. All the adventure rides and boating excellent and right by the kali river. Have a massage it is a joy.

Food is pathetic. Quality of food is terrible. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY & TIME BY NOT GOING TO THIS PROPERTY. COCKROACHES WERE ROAMING IN DINING AREA. They do not provide any room service. Beautiful property but because of food such a let down. They have no idea what is HYGIENE. Plates were not clean. EXORBITANT PRICING. Wi-fi does not work in the room. I stayed in a premium cottage & jacuzzi was not operational.

We booked a tree house for the weekend of the 26th Jan..the resort is nested at a sprawling location adjacent the kali river..Being an avid travelling and having stayed at a myraid of luxury resorts this i would say was a bit of a disappoin**ent The service was average..i can understand that being a long weeked the resort was a bit crowded however when they call it a luxury property one expects the service also to be that good.. We went to the bar and we placed orders for a drink which did not arrive even after over 45 minutes despite multiple reminders and we cancelled it.. The room was average but cleanliness could have been better..the upholstery was not very clean The plates in the restaurant is plastic melamine and ***y were stained.. wish that was ceramic.. The music being played was local loud music in the open The rafting was so disorganized and complete confusion prevailed on whether the service is available or not..unfortunately co of that confusion we could not take it The front office executives are grumpy and not so welcoming

Visited the resort on 24th. Pathetic customer service . The gate guard was rude and directed me to follow a car instead of telling me where the reception is. I parked my car and had a long walk to the reception and that was full of people with two people attending. After a long wait i said i had a booking and the lady took her own sweet time . Then she said i have not paid yet when i had paid 61k for 3 nights as advance payment. Then when i showed payment they said ok. Check-in time was 1 pm and i jad reached by 2:45. I said i will have my lunch and asked them to keep room ready. The dining area was like a cheap mess with curd fallen on the wall rice scattered on the floor. I found a table and told 3 people to clean it and they just nodded. I saw the restaurant ***ager walking and told him for the 4th time when finally some one cleaned the table. Poor spread of food and a very dirty dining hall. Once i finished they handed me the room key and i was transported to the room. The room was thankfully clean inside but i moved ine curtain and all i could see was pigeon droppings. The room had a Jacuzzi outside which had dust and leaves fallen and nobody had taken effort to clean. No Wi Fi in the restaurant. Night was the same menu with a change in the colour of the paneer gravy and rice. Poor dinner again. Since there were 3 of us i had asked for an extra blanket and towel. Blanket they gave but towel i did not get. Next day breakfast was decent with Davangere dosa, poha and upma. The only constant was the dirty restaurant. There were clogged was basin and tissues thrown all around and no attempt to keep the place clean. lunch was no different with the same boring combination of rice dal and paneer curry. We spoke to Ratan the ***ager and gave feedback. He apologized but i think the hotel is used to this. I decided to check out a day early as was tired of the loisy service and food. For a hotel charging 20k a night. No one bothered to explain facilities in the hotel or the activities. Next day also no one came to clean the room refill water or handover the towel which i had asked for. Shabby dirty restaurant and entire staff was always glum. Either they are understaff or they are living in the luxury of the location they have and the activities inside the hotel like zip line, swing rafting. Next day checkout also was again packed. Mr Ratan was just strolling around with no attempt to clear the crowd quickly. Even after we complained previous night he was least bothered. Basically that's the way they are wired. They don't care. I also tried getting a refund for the last day through MMT for the loot they had done. But MMT said that the hotel refused to refund. 20 k per night for this worthless place after traveling 9hrs from Bangalore. If you want to get tortured during your vacation and not relax this is the right place for you.

My visit to dandeli was peaceful, adventurous and tranquil . It was nature at it's best,the riverside view room was the best ,the buffet food br it lunch, dinner or breakfast .the deserts were mouthwatering. The service was fabulous ,the staff at the hotel were very accommodating and courteous. .the only drawback was there was no TV in the riverside view room but if you a nature and adventure lover you won't miss the internet /TV st all . The dog Whiskey ,the Beagle was very friendly and loving . Overall Whistling woods is a place I will definitely visit again bon Dandeli.
