The room and bed were very comfortable. The staff spoke English well. Great location. Awesome place for breakfast walking distance from the hotel.

We did really enjoyed staying at Amaru Hostal, lovely patio, close to la piazza de Armas, very friendly and kind staff, Alinda at the reception so helpful. Generous breakfast served by Epifania so caring and smiling, feels good early morning! We had a beautiful room with a stunning view on Cusco ! Just loved this lovely hotel !

Super nice hotel, great courtyard and hot tea and coffee all the time. The staff was super nice, and they even provided early breakfast to go for one of our tour days that we had planned. I would stay here again.

Amaru Inca, a charming hotel situated in the heart of Cusco, just a few blocks from Plaza de Armas, provided us with a delightful experience. We stayed for a total of four nights - before and after our visit to Machu Picchu. The staff was friendly and the place exuded a delightful local charm.

This is a smaller hotel (labeled on the outside as "Amaru Inca") just a few blocks off Cusco's Plaza de Armas (central square)--about halfway up the hill. Free Coca tea and Muna tea (to help with elevation and help you sleep, respectively), and clean water, are always available. Rooms are smaller but clean and beautifully decorated--the woodwork and furniture, the architecture feel authentic. The included breakfast is generous with custom omelettes. Staff (including Rosmery and Maria in the breakfast area) are friendly and helpful. I needed a couple of late-night (11pm) blankets, which they were happy to provide.

The service was great and it was very easy to book! Plus they were very accommodating to me as a Machu Picchu hiker - they kept my bags for me for free during the time I was hiking.

Morning breakfast with Epi and Maria was always great. They were always friendly and remembered my order. Nice to have friendly faces in the morning when so far from home. Staff was helpful and friendly. Would recommend this place for the price and location.
