퀴크 앙 테라스(Cuq en Terrasses)

Our yearly visit for a celebration and the hotel and food were yet again flying the flag for very high standards. The few rooms are quirky but function well, the shutters are easy and the bed v comfortable. The hosts now wait on table and the team in the kitchen deliver beautiful food under Adonis' guidance. Cannot praise it high enough, thanks for making our annual trip so special. Ps breakfast selection is great to!

This place has it all: the rooms are beautiful, breakfast is excellent, dinner on the terrace (or inside) is wonderful, there is calm and peace and, above all, the welcome and kindness of Philippe and Andonis.

We chilled out here after a wedding. Andonis ('Android' according to my text predictor!) and Philippe are masters of projecting laid back calm while being completely focused on guest comfort. The hotel and restaurant are both excellent and very good value (especially the wine list and cocktails)

We chose the Cuq en Terrasses for a bit of R and R after our wedding in Ambres, and it was a great decision! This is a lovely, small family run hotel/restaurant which provides a very high quality of hospitality at very reasonable prices. We stayed in one of the suites which is a splendid and spacious room with a lovely little terrace overlooking the view across the valley. There is an incredibly personal touch at the Cuq en Terrasses, the joint owners are always on hand to welcome you or help with anything you may need. They are also highly international and speak multiple languages perfectly (not always a given for the region!) There are a lot of great recommendations for things to do in the local area within the guestbooks in the lounge area, and at the same time it's also a great little place to relax during the daytime in the summer months with a well maintained garden and pool area (it should be noted that the pool was quite chilly!) Dinners in the Cuq en Terrasses restaurant are truly excellent, with a quality of cuisine aligned with high end restaurants & a wine list which focuses on local produce rather than big producers from other well known regions within France. Dishes are innovative, and although the menu is fairly small, we greatly enjoyed dining there on two of the evenings. We also made the most of the spa facility, using the jacuzzi/sauna privately on one of the evenings, which is a nice additional option if you're looking for that kind of experience. The house itself is charming and historical, maintained brilliantly with plenty of character. The surrounding area is a little remote, so I'd certainly recommend having a car if you are planning a visit as there's not much of note accessible by foot. We will gladly return in the future and just want to say once again a huge thank you to Philippe and the entire team for an excellent stay, just what we needed after a busy wedding week previously!

We have just had two nights in beautiful Cuq en Terrasses. Our room was fabulous and the decor just wonderful. We thank our friends the Quinns for introducing us to this place and we will definitely return. We booked the evening meal and each night sat in a beautiful spot and ate delicious food, lovely cocktails and great wine. They happily produced vegan meals for me and they were delicious. It was just what we needed and we loved it. Thanks to Adonis and Philippe for their hospitality, see you again soon we hope.

Très bel endroit , un havre de paix avec une déco soignée comme à la maison . Le diner est copieux et bistronomique , jolie carte des vins de la région avec des prix abordables . Un sentiment de bien être , un personnel au petit soin et la direction très avenante . Un détour incontournable .

Avec une vue à ne pas manquer et un cadre agréable, ce restaurant propose une cuisine authentique et soignée à base de produits savoureux. Le personnel très attentif garantit un service irréprochable. Nous allons sans aucun doute récidiver.

Désirant remonter de Banyuls via le Tarn pour le visiter, nous avons jeté notre dévolu sur cet établissement à la hâte… Quelle chance nous avons eu, un accueil parfait, chambres cosy et très bien climatisées et que dire de la cuisine… Digne de certains étoilés, un paradis sur terre, restés trois nuits, nous avons essayé de prolonger mais seule une nuit supplémentaire a été possible. Grand merci à Andonis & Philippe et à leur équipe pour l’accueil et la prestation réalisée, on s’en souviendra longtemps . Nous essaierons de repasser par ce petit coin de paradis à l’avenir !
