This was a great hotel to stay at, great service kind people and very helpful. The food was good for breakfast, the location and view is like a postcard and the wellness wraps it up. Only downside to mention is that there is no real sound proofing from external noises or other guest being loud, so for quiet this may not be your best pick.

The rooms are very clean and tidy. they have a classic look to them. The beds are very comfortable and also the bathrooms are quite nice. The hotel also offers a nice spa that helps you relax after a day of swimming. The only minor complaint I have is that the rooms can get a bit warm and it's not possible to turn the heat down to your liking.

We had a lovely stay in the hotel. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The hotel is well located and thanks to the transfer shuttles we could easily reach the slopes! I can only recommend this place!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gran Baita on a half-board basis through a Tui ski holiday. Room - our family room (for 3) was big enough and lots of storage, always clean and reset each day. Complimentary water in a small fridge. Tea and coffee making facilities (but no milk or creamer). Spa - clean, relaxing and well appointed. Robes, towels, slippers and flip flops all provided. Communal areas - always clean and tidy, lots of smaller areas designated for relaxing, reading etc. Bar manager was on point the entire stay. Snacks of crisps, nuts and breads brought with drinks in the evening. Drinks weren't inexpensive but comparable to anywhere else in the resort. Piano player offering entertainment each evening for pre or post-dinner times. Restaurant - buffet breakfast was excellent with lots of choice, anything you could want for breakfast (within reason). Fresh cutting loaves could do with being replenished as often these were small end pieces left if you arrived a little later (maybe a mamma or pappa arrived early to make a sneaky takeaway lunch 🤷‍♀️) You also need to ask for coffees etc to be brought out to you, the waiting staff don't often come with this option, although it's not a problem at all and included with breakfast. Restaurant - evening dinner is a 4 course meal with a choice of 2 antipasti, 4 primi, 4 secondi and 2 desserts. We could always choose something we fancied, as could our 16 year old son, but he enjoys a wide variety of foods. We did see children being served a children's menu so it might be worth enquiring. Food was delicious always. Restaurant - staff were brilliant and more relaxed around us after a few days. They work very hard under the watchful eye of a Maître d’ who ensures everything is running smoothly and properly. We were mostly served by a young lady from Scilly who loves fish(!) we thought she was great 👍 but all the serving staff are very good. Transport - nothing was too much for Marco, the hotel shuttle driver. Free shuttle trips to the cable cars at Courmayeur, Dolonne and Monte Bianco, rides into town and other local journeys. Excellent bonus which was much appreciated by tired ski legs at times! 🌟 The hotel, facilities and staff deserve the 5* rating.

we stayed as part of larger 3 family group of 15 - the hotel matched and exceeded all expectations. The staff were exceptional from Ana Paula and others on reception, Paulo in the bar, Massimo and his team in the dining room, we felt completely at home from day 1 to the end of of our stay. The quality and comfort of the hotel made this a trip to remember. Special mention to Marco and Deo who transported us on daily basis to, restaurants, the ski lifts , shops etc with total efficiency - no request was too much. Will definitely visit again McNamara family

Staff is extremely welcoming and willing to satisfy all your wishes. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. I stayed with my family and we enjoyed the atmosphere of relax. The SPA is also good: it’s small but it has all the essential features. I would come back again, definitely!

Very nice staff, friendly people always willing to help. I would highly recommend! I hope I will be able to visit this hotel again. The food also deserves praise. Delicious and varied dishes in the breakfast buffet ensure your well-being on the ski slope. The evening meal is a real culinary feast. Very cordial attitude towards children.

Very lovely hotel and amazing food. Couldn’t fault it. Great value for money. We had a trip to the top of Mont Blanc and the hotel shuttle was available to take us. We found the heated pool and spa very comfortable.

Although I wouldn't stay at this hotel again, it did offer an overall pleasant experience. The beds were comfortable, the pillows great, and the pool/outdoor area was beautiful. As a family of four, we booked a family room which fit our needs well. However, the key situation needs to be addressed. To access the room we were given a room key, then to access each door within the main door another set of room keys. The three keys had no distinction of which was which, and each time the housekeepers cleaned the room we came back to locked inner doors (had left them open and unlocked since the main door was closed and locked) and had to get countless new room keys which made the process of keeping them straight nearly impossible. Our room was located on the first floor, and despite appreciating that one of the rooms had a balcony, we were unable to see the view of the mountains due to trees directly in front. The balcony was located on a very busy street where cars drive quite fast all night long which made it hard to enjoy having the doors open. Our biggest complaint in the evenings was the piano music. The piano music was so loud, that we had to open all doors/windows to the sound of the street noise just to attempt to go to sleep. The music was too loud to hear yourself think in the lobby, and one floor up was no different. The biggest issue was that the music went from around 6 pm to 11:30 pm each night and we began to dread the sound when the evenings came around. The staff was always friendly, however, they didn't go out of their way to make you feel overly welcome. Another overall complaint was that the fitness center was not open until after at least 9 a.m., and felt inconsistent on when you could count on being able to work out. Overall our experience was fine, however, we would try a different establishment on our next visit.
