H10 플라야 에스메랄다 - 어른 전용(H10 Playa Esmeralda - Adults Only)

We just wrapped up a 2 week stay at Playa Esmeralda. We were 2 couples. We had an amazing time! The rooms were nice and spacious, plenty of activities offered, great food variety, absolutely amazing performers, etc! The longer we stayed the more we appreciated the hotel and especially the staff. They really made the experience worthwhile for us! Some of the kindest, gentlest, most dedicated folks you’ll ever meet! Obviously, no hotel is ever 100% perfect, but we had everything we needed and more and we knew it was no small feat for the staff to offer all that they did.

My ten days were everything I wanted them to be. Pure relaxtion! At no time did I feel uncomfortable being there on my own. For me, all elements of the hotel were perfect. The staff were exemplary - nothing too much trouble, very professional. Everywhere was very clean, my room was comfortable, the inclusive activities were brilliant, excellent massage at the spa, fabulous food choices. I'll be going again and maybe again and again!

Just back from this hotel and I must admit that as a female I just didn’t feel safe there. Lots of older men leering at the girls by the pool and lots of drunk Spaniards at the bar. I found the staff did their best but I could sense that the mgt were more interested in profit rather than safety. The food wasn’t great either and found the pool so cold that no-one used it. Will be sticking to Tenerife from now on!

Didn’t enjoy the experience of this hotel at all. A cold outdoor pool combined with terrible food which was only marginally better in the ‘privilege’ area (so i was told). Nice bar area and nice facilities but def wouldn’t go back. There isn’t much to do around the local area unfortunately so you are kind of stuck eating at the hotel as well. Nice beach though.

My wife and I have just stayed here for a week. We’ve been to Fuerteventura before, but this was our first visit to this hotel and it was so good that we hope to return. The location of the hotel, its cleanliness and the rooms, food and drink (we opted for all-inclusive although not big drinkers) were excellent. We’d booked a superior sea view room and it was very much worth the extra, with a large balcony. The only thing which could have made it even better would have been two sunbeds rather than chairs as well as the table. The biggest asset of the hotel though is very much its staff, all of whom are polite and have a very service orientated attitude, from reception to the cleaners to the bar staff and those in the restaurants. We had one evening meal in the specialist Italian restaurant, but also enjoyed dining three times a day in the main Jandia restaurant. All staff in the main restaurant were fine, but we need to mention two who very much stood put for us due to their exceptional service, hard work, attention to detail, friendliness and humour. They are Gerardo and Ibrahima and both are superb members of the hotel team and deserve full praise. So, thank you to Geraldo, Ibrahima and everyone else. We hope to return in the future.

When we arrived at the hotel, we received a warm and informative reception, any queries or potential problems were dealt with efficiently. We had booked half board, however there are no shops other than the hotel ones closer than 15 minute walk. We asked if we could upgrade to all inclusive which was not a problem. It cost €35 per person, per night which we actually soon got our money’s worth for as well as the convenience of not having to go to the shop or outside restaurants. Water available 24/7. The hotel is in a quiet area of the island which is exactly what we were after to unwind and relax. We booked a sea view room and were on the 5th floor. It was clean, spacious, ok beds, good shower, the ‘air con’ however, did not really help cool the room down and some days it was cooler to have the doors open. Reception informed, they could not get it any cooler or provide a fan. The temperature of the room is our only real negative about our stay. Pool area and sunbathing areas were kept mostly clean, the main pool is cool which is refreshing to be in, and a small paddling pool to cool your feet off in There is an indoor pool that is slightly warmer with spa jets that are free to use. Animation and fitness guys always interactive and funny, good game of water polo and water activities. Pool bar had a nice selection of food for lunch and good selection of drinks. Mike’s coffee bar was good for coffee and cake, some of the nicer cakes you have to pay extra for unless privilege guests but this was not a problem. Restaurants always had something we wanted to eat without the feeling of needing to go elsewhere, we ate once in the Italian restaurant, which was lovely. All the staff were amazing and friendly, interacting in so many languages for all the guests, also nice that we were able to improve on our own Spanish vocabulary. All guests were treated fairly and equally regardless of nationality or board level you were staying as. Overall a lovely hotel with great staff!

Our fist time in a H10 Hotel and I'm not sure if we would book one again. Positives- Hotel was spotless, our room was spacious with a good view. The food in the main restaurant had a great choice, the Italian a la carte was average[ Pizza isn't really a la carte. It might be our misunderstanding but isn't it a Spanish Island?] . The seafood was particularly lovely and staff were at times, friendly. Drinks were all branded. A couple of things to be aware of- unless you pay extra to be a 'Privilege' member then in your room you do not have tea, coffee, water or any drinks in your fridge[ we have been to a lot of all inclusive and this has never been the case. This was not made clear in the brochure or when we booked]. There are many areas that only' Privilege' people can go. There are certain foods on the menu that you have to pay extra for so please check. For example cake at the coffee shop. It is very German orientated and they are prioritised as guests. This hotel is advertised as an adults only and good for couples, however, there was a huge group of football fans that dominated the pool and bar area and were very loud and intimidating. Its such a shame that this is not the normal standard of a TUI Blue hotel based on our previous experiences.

Just returned a week ago from a lovely R&R holiday with my boyfriend and for my 30th birthday. We had booked a privelege double room and srarting with check in, we were quite late at just gone 10pm, we didn't have the check in we should of got being privelege. The girl at reception was in a flap as she was all by herself. We did get a prosecco however something non alcoholic would also be welcome for those who don't drink. We were left to find the room ourselves and being privelege it was a bit of a trek in the dark - porter service stopped by this point but really think they should have someone past this time! We seen many people confused over the week. The room was lovely, spacious and clean and could enjoy the seaview the next morning. Plenty of pillow choice and huge comfy beds. Minibar is included in privelege with sparkling and still water, beer, and soft drinks. There was a coffee machine but really could do with a kettle! Safe and beach towels also provided. Room cleaned everyday and towels too if needed. The room was just missing flannels in my opinion, which we seem to have as standard in other hotels we've been too. Pool towels changed daily from 6pm which we found too early for us, however we gave reception a call and someone would always bring us fresh! Greatly appreciated. The pool area is really spacious and we didn't feel cramped or on top of everyone, plenty of sunbeds we thought, however they mostly seemed to be taken from 10.30. We only witnessed a very very small handful being taken and then not used all day, lifeguards on hand to help with moving any together. The main thing that put us off is the cleanliness and maintenence of the pool areas. Around the outskirts of the pool didn't look the best and seen odd drinks for days not moved. Broken tiles in the shower area, broken tiles floating in the small pool and also dirty and the spa pool wasnt clean either, however the actual area around it floors etc were. The tables around the pool i never seen cleaned, ours was disgusting and seen the floor only jetwashed once around the area right next to the pool. I think after covid a bit of extra cleanliness wouldn't go amiss around the pool, however everywhere else was spotless and the cleaners and maids worked extremely hard all day. We also found waking up and walking past leftover drinks/cups by the pool bar and even terrace bar off putting. We found it great their was a seperate smoking zonesas we are non smokers (just a bench near the elevators) - however even though it didn't affect us this seemed to be on a bench outside someones room, whether or not this is used as a room im not sure, also activities like yoga also took place here? We found it a bit odd! The pool bar food was OK too, fresh to order and good service. Definitely more staff needed on drinks, was usually only one serving takeaway drinks and if people were ordering cocktails the queue grew, but nothing make or break. fantastic hotel can't wait to go back food was great pool bar was great the sea view from our room was fantastic the service was perfect cannot fault this hotel beach was a little out of my reach as loads of steps to get down to it aslo there is a nudist part of the beach. all in all you won't be disappointed
