From the moment we arrived the staff and whole experience was fantastic. The reception staff whose names I didn’t get were so welcoming and friendly couldn’t have been nicer. The two women working the breakfast table were so nice and friendly.. the bar staff a Cornelius and especially Darragh were brilliant couldn’t do enough for us, live music on the Saturday night was great too and a nice vibe for couple drinks not too loud.

The experience was disappointing. We began with the vegetable soup, which was quite oily, and we weren't given all the necessary cutlery for our meal. Next, I ordered the pizza. It was undercooked and very doughy, with a grainy texture on the base that felt like sand. I couldn’t finish it. My partner had the toasted sandwich with chips. The sandwich was bland. The chips seemed reheated or refried; they were very dark brown and tough. The service was okay; the staff were friendly and we did not wait long for our food. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and a view of the bay. However, nothing stood out about the presentation of the food. There was a good variety on the menu, but the overall experience did not meet my expectations. The only thing I’d recommend is the coffee. Overall, it was not worth the price.

I stayed here for one night with my partner in mid December. We stay on the first floor. I have to say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From the moment we opened the door the room was immaculate and also had an extra bed for a double room. We had a front facing room overlooking the harbour which was nice. We also used the leisure facilities, pool was nice however the steam room I found was too hot for me so did'nt very long in it. The sauna was out of order when we were there, We did'nt eat in the hotel as we had other arrangements so can't comment on the food. Found the staff very nice and helpful even when I asked for ice in the bar for my room was no problem. Really enjoyed my stay. Can't wait to return!

On arrival at hotel on the 21st of November.The greeting from Jacinta was so professional and helpful. The room was amazing, extremely clean and comfortable Breakfast was wonderful. Staff are very friendly and professional as well. I would recommend this beautiful hotel and I give it 5 stars 🌟 +.Thank you for a wonderful stay,I will recommend/ and also stay here again. Just back from a two night stay at Schull Harbour hotel. We had a wonderful family get away. We stayed in the apartments with our baby and two dogs. Check in was so pleasant and the apartment was warm and toasty when we arrived. It was like a home away from home. Everything was provided to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare family meals. We travel a lot with our son and he slept peacefully both nights in his extremely comfortable carry cot. Our bed was so cozy and the bed linen was fabulous. The apartment had a high chair which came in extremely handy. We also had use of a dishwasher and washing machine. It was spotlessly clean and the jacuzzi bath in the bathroom was a particular favourite for our little man. The menu in the bar is incredible and we enjoyed the most delicious cocktails on one of the evenings during our stay. We were pleasantly surprised with how reasonably priced food and beverages were. The weather was particularly bad during our visit but it didn’t matter because the hotel have an incredible leisure centre that we enjoyed. The pool was clean and warm and the staff were extremely accommodating. It was safe for our fur babies and they had lots of room to roam around our ground floor apartment. The view was just splendid and there are the loveliest little shops down Main Street. The hotel provided entertainment in the evenings which was so much fun and really enhanced our stay. A perfect base for a deeply relaxing family staycation in beautiful west Cork.

The perfect place to start your trip to the southwestern Cork peninsulas. We had a nice see view room, the hotel is very clean and cosy and tasteful. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming and helpful with tips about where to go and what to do. Public parking in front of the hotel. The breakfast is very tasteful and the restaurant is really good.
