Orchid Square - the Boutique Hotel Coonoor

I had been thr after my wedding in the year 2020 Amazing room n wonderful experience I had The staff was very nice thy treated us very well 5-stars to the hotel 🥰🥰🥰🥰 I still have a pen which was given by a hotel staff as a gift Our bedroom was so so so beautiful❤ thanks orchid square

Very musty smelling rooms. Dirty toilets not cleaned. Smoke smells from the bathroom . Balcony unusable totally not maintained . Stained Curtains. Dirty shower area . On the whole very poor experience.

My recent visit to Orchid Square Boutique Hotel and Restaurant in Coonoor was absolutely fantastic. The staff makes you feel incredibly welcome and cater to every need. The rooms are beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable and luxurious retreat with stunning views of the surrounding hills. The restaurant surpassed my expectations with its delectable cuisine, offering a diverse menu and impeccable service. The hotel's location amidst lush greenery and overlooking the tea gardens added an extra layer of tranquility to my stay. Overall, Orchid Square exceeded my expectations in every way, and I highly recommend it for a memorable and rejuvenating experience in Coonoor.

Worst Hotel worst stay. UNCLEAN, UNHYGIENIC BAD PLACE. The worst experience ever. Can't even call this place a hotel. False images, false ratings to lure people but when they actually arrive the place is the dirtiest most unhygienic, inhu***e and unhu***itarian environment. The staff was unkind and rude! The "hotel" corridors and room had an unbreathable, stinky smell. The bathrooms had not been cleaned and had black growth everywhere. There was a used soap in the bathroom. The bathroom slider did not close and looked very old. Even with constant reminders, the rooms were not cleaned. STAY ANYWHERE BUT HERE. IF NO OPTION, SKIP COONOOR ITSELF!!! I have proof of how bad this place is..the ROOF OF THE ROOM WAS FALLING OFF. THE BED HAD NAILS COMING OUT OF IT. THE HEADBOARD WAS SO DIRTY IT LOOKED LIKE IT HADN'T BEEN CLEANED IN AGES.

The only place where Chinese food is served with Cumin and then they argued that its their special recipe advised by their boss. When we mentioned that they should have informed us they are like, sorry!!

We stayed in this hotel on 25th December 2022. Rooms were beautifully decorated. Restaurant food was really good. We also liked hotel location, all Coonoor tourist places are nearby. I recommend this hotel for Coonor. Ooty is overcrowded , better to stay here and have day visit to ooty.

Extremely poor quality rooms. We were told that the room we booked would be mountain facing but all i could see was garbage outside. The balcony was dirty...filled with crow dropping and tiles were broken. The bathroom was dirty and shower curtain had fungus in it. We refuse to stay and left the so called BOUTIQUE HOTEL with total disgust. We started our visit to Coonoor with bad experience.

I went in last week to Conoor and stayed in this Orchid Square A Boutique Hotel. A very first day i ordered Chettinad chicken, this was not at all authentic , rather it was just like water poured into chicken curry. I had been told that you need to wait for 15-20 mins, however this food came to my room after calling multiple times that too after an hour. Also in bathroom, water was getting choked. In breakfast, Medu vada was tasteless(had no salt ) and even multiple customers raised a constraints about the food, either it had no or too much of salt. Also there were no juices, no fruits, no millets, no salads etc in the breakfast. Also at the time of the checkout, ***agement gave a pen to the customers and insisted for a good review in return. I would recommend you not to visit this hotel, unless you have no options leftover.
