I booked and prepaid a standard King, and on arrival was told they were out and was given an accessible room, which I did not want. The receptionist (Veronica, I believe) let me know she didn't see the difference, as it's the same-size bed. I let her know that I did not spend my money to feel as if I am in a hospital or nursing home. If I needed it, I would have paid for it. I kept being told how they were full, but my thing is I prepaid, so if they were full, then they put someone else in my room. I offered to even pay the difference to be upgraded and was told I couldn't because I prepaid, and so I asked if I could be upgraded for the inconvenience and was told there was no inconvenience because i could just take the handicap room. I called ******* to be transferred or refunded due to my room not being available, and when ******* called, nobody at the desk would answer, so I was stuck with it. I will never book Holiday Inn again.
