The room was both spacious and clean, meeting our expectations. The bed, with its firmness, suited our preferences, especially considering my husband's back issues. The linens were fresh, and the pillows struck a good balance, not being overly soft. The bathroom maintained a high standard of cleanliness, and the shower amenities, including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers, were adequately stocked with a commendable brand. However, our only challenge arose on our last night when it was difficult to sleep due to the noise from the room above, where children were running around throughout the night and early morning starting around 6:00 am. Despite the disturbance, we opted not to complain, understanding the challenges of managing children. Nevertheless, I hope that in the future, the management might consider assigning families with small children to ground-floor rooms to minimize such disruptions.

Perfect location on the way to Tahoe. Parking is free and easy. Check-in is very fast. Rooms are large and comfy. Gas stations are nearby before continuing our journey. Only minor drawback is that the types of restaurants are Colfax are a bit limited.

Great location. Great value. Perfect hideout for waiting out an overnight blizzard on the way to skiing!

Property is new and clean. Location is convenient, close to gas, food, & freeway. Only downside, the building and flooring is not sound proff. We weren't able to sleep well from the noise of people upstairs.

The room was dirty. Some towels were dirty and it was obvious that they didn’t wipe the desk area. The beds were uncomfortable and very noisy/squeaky. We stayed on the first floor and the guests from upstairs and in the halls were very loud. When trying to call the front desk, the phone in the room didn’t work. The coffee was water and the machine didn’t work one morning.

Very nice hotel for the price point. Room was clean and a nice bed. Basic breakfast. The staff was very nice everyone of them

Ok for the price, but a few things that make it so-so. Shower water pressure was so weak, I had to stand just a few inches from the wall. Only 1 thin, rough towel was provided to dry off. Fridge and micro were on a switched wall so only worked if the light was on. (So fridge didn't stay cold overnight.) Hairs of previous guest were not cleaned from the shower floor. Motion-triggered bathroom light was jarringly bright during a midnight visit; could not figure out how to disarm the trigger. Then, because the motion sensor is in the main bathroom area, the light turned off while I was in the shower! (Obviously couldn't detect behind the shower curtain.) These small annoyances added up.

Very well maintained property, slightly over 1h drive to Tahoe ski resorts.
