A+++++++ August 2023, My husband and I stayed in the second floor Bedroom that has one Queen bed and 1 full size Bed. Check-in was super easy with Peggy. Parking was simple --you park on the side of the house. She had candy and warm, delicious cookies in our bedroom. The bathroom is located next door and there is a curtain that you draw In order to have privacy to and from your bathroom, Water pressure was fantastic. Peggy showed us around the house and also showed us a balcony that we could sit outside and enjoy coffee in the morning if we would like. The room was beautifully decorated. The home is very lovely and decorated with lots of beautiful antiques. We felt like we were staying with a FAVORITE relative! The bedroom has a small television and terrific Wi-Fi and a ceiling fan in the room. (no refrigerator, no microwave.) Peggy was terrific In that she accommodated our dietary needs. And and the Breakfast was absolutely fantastic!! Thank you, Peggy! We will definitely stay at your home again. It was a lovely experience, and we slept terrific at your house! Thank you!!! We would HIGHLY recommend.

This is such a fabulous place to stay! The owner is very gracious and has spent many decades restoring this beautifully-crafted Victorian house to perfection. A very charming place, comfortable and quiet, with a pleasant view of the river from the front porch. The breakfast was also top-notch.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful hotel, and I must highlight the exceptional host who made our stay truly memorable. The hotel itself was exquisite, offering comfortable accommodations and stunning amenities. However, what stood out the most was the host's warm and attentive service. They greeted us with a genuine smile, ensured our needs were met, and shared valuable local insights, making our visit truly special. The host's personal touch and dedication to guest satisfaction added an extra layer of comfort and enjoyment to our stay, making this hotel a top choice for anyone seeking a fantastic experience.

What a beautiful, elegant and peaceful retreat. Our room was exceptionally comfortable, loved the bathroom and Peggy was a superb hostess. Breakfast was also excellent. Could not recommend highly enough!

This place was so charming - a step back in time! The hostess was so friendly and even took the time to sit with us at breakfast to talk with us. The only negative was that the A.C. did not turn on much (if at all) once the night time hours came and it was very stuffy and hot while trying to sleep.

If you are looking for a place to stay that you will remember, reserve a night at this property.

We enjoyed our one night stay with our dog. Peggy was very kind and friendly. The house is quiet, very clean, and beautifully decorated. The second floor room in which we stayed has access to a spacious balcony overlooking the river. The house is conveniently located in a very safe area. We took our dog for a walk in the nearby park along the river. There are many dining choices within walking distance. The hot breakfast was delicious. We couldn’t ask for more and would highly recommend to our friends and fellow travelers.

Great stay. Our host Peggy was just wonderful and she was very accommodating. Breakfast was very good.
