I had one night stay with my friend family, he booked us the hotel and breakfast. Whole experience was great from start till end. Great service, warm welcome, polite staff. Our experience got really 5 star when breakfast team has done a amazing service and best hot breakfast serve. Manager in cha rge Mr Rehman along with his team were so polite, Infact after checking my name and he individually went through the breakfast counter and show us everything on the counter. We all felt very special and welcoming. Good job team, Plz keep it up. See you soon, Will defo promote Lakeside. Regards

Our 50th Wedding Anniversary was made all the more special from start to finish by the wonderful team @ The Lakeside.. Lynsey in events did everything to ensure we had an amazing time! The Reception team were wonderful F&B team went beyond our expectations The brilliant Lady who ensured public areas were pristine was so lovely and great at what she did Our 5 precious Grandchildren were so happy there Thank you all again !!!

Our room was very spacious for our family of 4. The children were pleasantly surprised to find easter eggs on their beds! The food was nice at breakfast and at dinner. The pool and slide was a hit with the children! The location and views are beautiful. We were also blessed with the weather. We'd definitely be back.

This hotel is situated in a very picturesque setting. We stayed in room 104 with a wonderful view of the lake. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. There are plenty of options at breakfast.We will definitely be visiting again.

Once again we were lucky enough to enjoy a stay in this beautiful hotel. Everything about this hotel is wonderful, from the beautiful room overlooking the river to the great food in O'Hara's bar. The staff all go out of their way to ensure you have the best stay. They are all so helpful and friendly. We look forward to our next visit.

Staying in this hotel was like getting a big warm hug! All the staff were cheerful, friendly and made sure that we had the best ever experience. Rooms were great ( worth the little extra to get a lake view) the food was smashing and the bar prices very reasonable. Plenty of parking and you walk easily to both villages and overall very good value for money.

This hotel has so much potential based on location and just THE best staff. But hotel itself needs a lot of TLC. If you are a normal guest not staying in the front section of hotel then you see the flaws. The pool area needs major refurbishment. The dressing room is just manky dirty. The pool is grubby. All in all it’s just under par. Rooms are fine. I had one of the cheaper ones with a view of the recycling bins but room itself was fine. The restaurant is cold and lacks Irish warmth with mediocre food. Such a shame. Plus photos on their website do not reflect what it looks like today 2024. Just sad. Cause it could be absolutely fantastic.

Loved this hotel, booked in for one night and got upgraded to the Superior waterfront room which was just fabulous! So much so we booked in on a whim for a second night. Leisure centre has a good sized pool and a waterslide which was popular while we were there! The bar staff were very friendly , couldn't do more for us and especially at a time when the place was so so busy as we went Patrick's weekend. The food was really lovely enjoyed all of our meals. Will definitely be back!

The hotel is situated in a fabulous setting beside the water. The room was spacious and well equipped with a lovely view. The attention to detail by the friendly staff made this a wonderful stay for a family reunion.
