Well…what can we say. We’re just packing up and saying good bye to the wonderful team at The Standard, Maldives. We actually came to The Standard this time last year (May/June 2022) and returned this year because we fell so in love with this magical place. Last year we got engaged at The Standard and the team went so above and beyond to accommodate us throughout our stay, but especially on the night of our engagement. We had a beautiful candle lit, private dinner. It was more than we could have asked for. We of course had to return when the opportunity arose. On arrival to Male, we were transported to The Standard’s new lounge, where a member of the team looked after us. We immediately felt like we were on holiday. We sat on the balcony, in the sunshine, watching the sea planes take off and land, helping ourselves to the fully stocked fridges for drinks and snacks. The team let us know when it was our turn to fly and escorted us to the correct waiting area (where we waited literally 10 minutes) it was all made so stress free and easy! We were welcomed to The Standard this year, with lots of familiar faces and some new ones too. It was particularly great to see Eva, Shasha and Shak again. All who were so accommodating and hospitable on both visits. We also met the super new GM, Ryszard, who very kindly welcomed us with some complimentary goodies when we were taken to our room. Eva is incredible. She’s super woman. She was always there to help us when we needed her, to plan our days, visits and bookings…anything from booking our dinner reservations, the tennis court, to booking us on to a Dolphin Cruise. She is a fantastic host. She kept us up to date regularly with the new schedules, packages available for the spa and water sports, slight changes due to weather change etc. Everything was thought about, and it was so organised. We went for breakfast and lunch at Kula every single day…how could we not? We were welcomed by the lovely Shak and Soobie, and the rest of the hard working team. So polite and respectful. Always there to make sure we are okay and happy. Our drinks were always replenished when needed/wanted. The variety of food is beyond your expectations. We were never left feeling hungry. There is obviously a lot of hard work and organisation that goes in to these meal times. Shasha and his team at the evening restaurants, BBQ Shak and GuduGuda were fantastic. We looked forward to every single meal time to be welcomed and fed by the restaurant staff. They go above and beyond to meet your wants and needs. The food is 5 star and so delicious. It is nice to have and try a mixture of local food, and food that we are familiar with. The bar staff are phenomenal. So friendly and helpful, always asking how our day has been. No order is a hard one for them. Again, replenishing drinks when we needed them at the pool. We absolutely loved visiting the spa last year, where we had a massage, a facial and I had a manicure. We stayed May 6-16th The hotel and staff were absolutely wonderful and far exceeded our expectations. The food is of a very high standard, the rooms and common areas spotlessly clean, staff friendly and attentive. There is a good selection of low-key evening entertainment. There is a house reef which is good for snorkelling and there are a variety of trips available as well as diving courses and water sports etc. This was the best hotel stay we have ever had, and we are both well travelled. We will definitely be returning to the Maldives and more than likely to Dhigufaru. Staff - from landing in Male to leaving the staff are wonderfully helpful. We had a hotel representative waiting for us to assist with the seaplane and he was also there on the return to advise on international departure. When arriving on the island the check in is seamless and we were assigned an island host of the duration of our stay - we had Mary, she was fantastically helpful in arranging trips and keeping us informed. She also arranged for some special extras for our anniversary including a room upgrade on the last two nights of our stay which was incredible - thank you Mary!!! All the staff on the island are incredibly friendly and helpful. The staff at the pool bar were fantastic. It also seems that in the restaurant you get assigned a waiter for the duration of stay - we had Shubuham, he was so lovely and remembered our drink orders :) as well as giving us tips and advice. Venu and Sohita were also lovely and helpful. A special thanks also to Abdullah the boat captain who let me steer the boat on the dolphin trip! Food - the food is excellent, of a really high standard and highly varied. We were on the island 10 nights and repetition was very limited. Entertainment - there is a different theme each night at the pool bar, but all entertainment is low key. Two stand outs were the diving school who gave a talk on the local reef, which was very informative. The hotel management also held a cocktail party one evening, this was a great way to find out more about the island as well as an informal way to raise any problems (we had none!). We had been out on the dolphin trip and mentioned that we didn't see any (not that we minded) so the manager rearranged for us to go again the next day and we saw many. This was exceptionally good service and so unexpected. There are also a good selection of trips available from the dive school, including a tour of the house reef (which we did), manta ray trip to Hanifaru (we did this and saw mantas), plus other trips such as turtles. The hotel also puts on a daily sting ray show at the arrival jetty - this is excellent! Island & sea - the house reef is good - off of the arrival jetty - with a good variety of fish (big & small), plus the occasional shark and sting ray. We had the best time ever here for our 35th wedding anniversary...Nizam went above and beyond with supervising the house keeping of our room and the standards were to the highest quality...Sumith the supervisor of cafe mass and the thavaa went over and above to make us welcome every time we went for a drink or something to eat,somya at cafe mass always has a smile on her face and very pleasant ...on the whole and can not fault meedhupparu at all

식당및 바에서 기분 좋게해주는 직원분들이 많았습니다. 여행사 패키지로 와서 올인 크루시브로 여러 서비스를 즐겼고 후회는 없습니다. 객실도 깨끗하고 청소도 잘 해주셔서 좋았어요. 다만 사방이 바다이다보니 몸에 모레가 묻어 오는 경우가 잦게 있었는데 변기가 있는 화장실에 모레가 꽤나 많이 있었지만 청소를 해주지 않으셔서 결국 저희가 했어요.🥲 말하지 않아도 모든걸 다 해주셨으면 하는 바램이 있긴했는데 그러기엔 숙소가 너무 넓었나 싶기도 했습니다,, 그리고 버틀러분께는 우리나라가 팁문화가 잘안되어 있어서 타이밍을 맞추지 못해서 팁을 전해드리지 못했지만 만나게 되면 챙겨드리고 싶었는데 첫번째 날 이후로는 저희가 무슨 액티비티를 해도 만나봴수가 없어서 그러질 못했네요 ㅠㅠ뭔가 그래서 그런지... 아쉬움이 느껴지는 서비스였어요.. 이 점들 제외하고는 좋았어요! 한번은 룸클리닝을 해주고 나셔서 였는데, 맥주가 채워져 있지 않아서, 올인크루시브라서 걱정않고 룸서비스로 맥주를 시켰는데 금액이 붙더라구요 ㅠㅠ 근데 저희가 숙지를 잘 못했던 탔에 일어났던 일이였고, 환불도 할 수 없는 상황이여서 룸서비스 와주신 직원분이 더 미안해 하시면서 여러가지 팁을 알려주시면서 속상해지려던 마음마저도 기분좋게 만들어 주셨어요. 밑에 여러 피드백들 덕분에 저희는 좋은 서비스를 받고있는것 같아요. 모든 직원들이 다 친절한건 아니지만 대체적으로 다 친절하셔서 너무 좋습니다 ^,^ 특히 식당 직원분들과 바 직원 중에서는rohit는 유쾌하고 친절해서 얼굴만 봐도 기분좋게 만드는 매력이 있으세요 ㅎㅎ 그리고 식당도 여러음식들을 다뤄서 다채롭고 맛있습니다! 파스타를 만들어주시는 이탈리아(?)직원분이 만들어주는 파스타는 항상 맛있어요❤️ 스파 직원분들도 너무 친절하시고 스파가 끝나고나면 머리를 해주시고 꽃을 꽂아주는 서비스도 너무 취향 저격이에요💘 그리고 윈드서핑을 알려주신 선생님도 너무 친절하셨고 재밌었습니다. 많은 직원분들이 행복해하면서 일에 임하니 저희까지도 행복할수 있었습니다! 좋은 추억 만들어주셔서 감사합니다!

Reethi Faru에서의 여행과 숙박은 우리의 기억에 잊을 수 없습니다. 잘못된 것은 없었습니다. 우리는 아침 식사 만 예약했으며 우리에게 적합하다는 것이 밝혀졌습니다. 우리는 매일 저녁 섬의 레스토랑 중 한 곳에서 식사를 할 수 있었습니다. 풀 펜션 또는 올 인클루시브인 경우 메인 레스토랑(뷔페)에서만 밤이 가능하거나 다른 레스토랑 중 한 곳에서 추가 비용으로만 밤이 가능했을 것입니다. 객실은 잘 관리되고 잘 청소되어 있습니다. 커피, 차, 물은 매일 객실에서 무료로 채워집니다. 1일 2회 룸서비스를 제공하지만, 아침 청소 후 매일 ”방해하지 마세요”라고 주장하지 않았습니다. 직원들은 예외적으로 미리 존재하고 도움이 됩니다. 우리는 다이빙 센터에서 많은 시간을 보냈습니다(특허를 제출했습니다). 다이빙 센터는 스위스의 안내를 받고 있으며 이 스위스의 신뢰성 품질도 강조됩니다.

Just returned from a 5 night stay at JB. Went there as one of our destinations for our 25th anniversary. Overall rating: 9/10   JB is an extremely beautiful place. Ultraluxury accommodation in a paradisiac environment. Architecture is stunning and fully integrated with local nature. Gardening is manicured, but at the same time respectful with endemic species. Decoration of common and private spaces is extremely tasteful, ample spaces everywhere that seem to have been designed with attention to every single detail.   Service is top-notch. From the people that deal directly with guests, to the large team in charge of keeping everything tidy. After an overnight trip from London, we were welcomed at the hotel lobby/port/marine airport, a stunning architectural design, by the hotel manager and several members of the team.   We were introduced to Razan, who was going to be our butler for the stay. Razan conducted himself with the right mix of professionalism and warming attitude. As with the rest of the operation, he was always on top of details, making sure we were happy and comfortable. Perfect butler that make our stay pleasant.   Service at common areas was again at an extremely high level. Beach and swiming-pool are very well attended. Bars and lunch area also very well served. Dinner service also really good. Reception at the restaurants was handled very professionally by several young woman, always with a welcoming smile. Waiters also super attentive at all times, to bring you anything you needed with a great attitude. Henry, in charge of this service team, came every single day to say hello and to spend a few minutes chatting with us and make sure everything was going well.   Food is at very high standard. Light salads nicely presented and tasteful. Meat and fish very well cooked. Menu is a mix of international cuisine with presence of Asian flavours and some local touch. JC, in charge of directing all cooking, also came to introduce himself and offered his help if we needed anything special. They do a very good job at the kitchens.   In terms of facilities, the overall theme of this resort is wellness, so as you can expect, SPA and GYM areas were at a super-high level. The SPA is one of the most gorgeous we have ever seen, a dream for instagramers, with a number of treatments to your taste. The Gym is absolutely first class, also in a large beautiful building, with several professionals and complimentary physical activities. Service in these facilities, again super pleasing and helpful.   At this ultra-luxury level of facilities and service, complaining of anything does not seem right, but let us address some areas to improve. ”Flow” is the name of the main restaurant, that is used both for breakfast and dinner; the transition of ambiances from day to night is very well thought-out, it feels like two different places, equally gorgeous. ”Mojo” is the alternative restaurant, that is next to the swimming pool, used for lunch, as all day bar, an
