My stay at the Ibis Hotel in Villefranche-sur-Saône was pleasant and convenient. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its proximity to the highway. Located right next to the autoroute, it’s perfect for travelers looking for easy access without the hassle of long detours. Surprisingly, despite being so close, there was absolutely no noise from the traffic, making it a peaceful place to rest. The staff here were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. From the reception to the restaurant, the team went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. It’s this kind of warm service that really makes a difference when traveling. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, offering the essential comforts at a reasonable price. While it’s not a luxury destination, it’s a great choice for those needing a convenient stopover during a road trip or business stay.

Très bon hôtel, bien situé. Très grande chambre, personnel sympathique et très bon petit déjeuner.

Stayed here whilst travelling home from the Alps, we normally stay in Villefranche (which is a very nice town) and unfortunately the hotel we normally stay in was full so we had to stay here. Sadly this is a contender for one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The parking is in an extremely cramped underground car park and if you have a large car you will find it very difficult to park. When we arrived at reception rooms had not already been assigned to us and the receptionist took ages to check us in and give us our keys. The rooms are very small and the bathrooms are so small that you can barely move and certainly not reflective of the photos on the website. Given the price (nearly €100 a night) this was very disappointing. When we arrived for breakfast which was supposed to be available from 7am which we needed as we needed to leave for onward travel we found it was not ready and we needed to wait another 15 minutes for staff to have it prepared. Will definitely not be staying here again.

Hôtel sympathique et beau décor. Le restaurant est très bien. Un parking payant sous terrain idéal pour l’hiver. Les chambres sont spacieuses et agréables. Je recommande cet hôtel et ce restaurant. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et servi jusqu’à 11h. On peut garder la chambre jusqu’à 12h. Parfait !

La ubicación, aunque está un poco alejada de la autopista, es buena y se llega enseguida. La zona es aparentemente tranquila y a menos de 5 minutos hay un supermercado por si es necesario alguna cosa. No salimos por la noche, así que no podemos valorar más de la ubicación. El desayuno tiene un poco de todo.

Nous avons eu plusieurs interlocuteurs par téléphone, tous très bienveillants et arrangeants. L'arrivée autonome le soir est très facile. Chambres petites et salle d'eau minimaliste, suffisant pour une nuit en transit Petit-déj très bien

Staff are all very pleasant and helpfull. Dinner was very good, very good red housewine? Very good value for money. The building itself has seen better days and needs some refurbishment in and outside, therefore an average rating.
