The cottage has a metal fireplace. Sheltered campfire in the yard (location in the woods limits use in dry times). Very quiet location on a the rugged wilderness-like terrain. Berry- and mushroom picking possibilities in the area during picking season. Bird observation tower with nice view. Tower is located 30 m from the sleeping hut, distance from the cottage about 200 m. This destination is located 45 km to the west from Tampere, lake Rautavesi 150 m, gently deepening child-friendly sand beach. The beach is shared with other customers in the area. Boat ramp on the beach. The room has a double bed and a sofa bed for one person, in the kitchenette there is refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and kettle, TV, and washroom with WC. There is a communal barbecue area on site (distance 300 m), as well as a wood-heated lakeside sauna and a smoke sauna. The rental is handled by the campsite VuoriCaravan. One lift card is included in the rent. A €20 renewal fee is charged for a lost or damaged lift card. This cozy destination is located by the fishy lake Rautavesi. Vuorihuoneistot offers an excellent alternative for those who require diversity from their holiday. The destination is ideal for families and couples. 50 km south-west of Tampere, pond Ojastenlampi 150 m (100x60m), gently sloping shallow hard sand bottom, in deeper partly mud bottom. By the pier the depth is 2-3 meters. Pond is in shared use with owner (owner uses it sometimes). Old log farmhouse, renovated in 2005, kitchen, large living room, 3 bedroom, each with 3 beds, sleeping alcove with bed (width 120 cm), hall, room where bake oven (eg. for grilling sausages, preparing meals), washing room (2 showers), sauna (electric stove), 2 toilets. A total of 10 beds. For additional fee possibility for 4 extra beds. By the pond there is a summer barbecue hut which is in shared use with the owner (please inform the owner in advance if you wish to use the barbecue hut). By a separate payment a summer sauna building with wooden stove, also with fireplace (heated by customer 50€/day, 200€/week, 2019) and a smoke sauna (heated by owner 150€/one heating, 300€ during winter, 2019). Availability of the additional saunas should be agreed in advance with the owner. In summer sauna there are extra beds for 2-4 beds (additional fee). The owner uses pond beach sometimes. Farmhouse from the 1800s on a peaceful plot. Furnished respecting tradition, yet with all modern conveniences. The house has good facilities for two families. Yard area is spacious and bright and bordered by a beautiful field landscape. Nearby good nature trails and cross-country skiing tracks (depending on weather conditions).
