Absolutely gorgeous stay, room was immaculately clean and super modern with great facilities amd very spacious. Bathroom was equally spacious and shower was the best we've had at a hotel! Restaurant was beautiful and very reasonable price and massive portions! The grounds are beautifully kept, leaving my partner envious of their lawns! Safe to say we'll definitely be back!

We were kept awake till1 pm with nightime roadworks out the front of our room Extremely unhappy and grumpy in the morning as we had an early start and an extremely busy day If we were told of this we would have gone to a different htel

The Devon Hotel was rather more than I had expected, being rated as a 3 star hotel with *******. Although my single room was compact, it was very comfortable and clean and had all the facilities I needed for my 2 night stay. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful and the public areas were also well decorated and clean. The dining experience in The Carriages bar and brasserie was really delightful- again, nicely appointed and the food was delicious. The hotel was relatively easy to find from the M5 motorway and on a main road (pity about the nearby industrial estate my sat nav took me around first!!). Finally, it was reasonably priced across the board and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

Ran hot water bath. No problem with hot water. Gave it 5 mins to cool down. When returned, realised water had been Running away with plug in place quite fast.plug seal not working. Fridge was hot outside warm inside. Coffee saxhet quality awful. Traffic view. Could do with chill out space at rear with No view of traffic.Trust this helpful.

Staff where very helpful in the hotel as well as bar and restaurant. Room was clean and tidy with everything you needed for a great stay. Bar and restaurant well presented and food was very good.

Restaurant dinner a bit limited but breakfast was excellent. Very comfortable and a good night’s sleep. TV remote did not work but that was the only criticism.

Unsure what the VIP gift was unless it was the two water bottles in the room - if so thanks

Friendly welcome, ideal for an overnight business stay. Plenty of car parking and big enough spaces for a range rover. Food was good and the doombar were good pints with plenty of froth, a poor bar can serve a flat one, but staff were welcoming with a good pint! Some rooms are motel style with doors directly into the car park, so you may hear the early starters from these. Well situated for Exeter, in particular marsh barton trading estate where i had meetings. I would stay again.

Great hotel although somewhat quirky! Really excellent restaurant and bar with great service but in a separate building across a small road. The hotel itself is on a number of levels with a number of staircases. Access to the furthest wing is either via the car park or, internally, by using two staircases and a number of corridors. It is all worthwhile, however, as the hotel is really good value for money. Will definitely use it again.
