Ocean View Motel and Chalets

We stayed in a chalet for 3 nights. Yvette at check in was really nice. The chalet was nice and had everything you need in kitchen.Mini fridge,2 burner stove,microwave, coffee pot,dishes,pans and cutlery. Could use new towels in bathroom but everything was clean.The guys who cleaned rooms came by every morning to see what we needed and were very polite.Woukd definitely recommend staying here.Near the cabot trail and lots of shops and restaurants near also grocery store.

Excellent view of the ocean right in front of the cottage. It was spacious and very clean and well a well equipped kitchen with everything you need. Plenty of storage space for clothing etc... Would have liked to stay another night. The owners were available and helpful.

This is a beautiful setting for anytime of the day. We stayed in Room 6 on the end of the motel section-AWESOME SELECTION for booking over the phone! We had a very large room with a sofa and sofa table, large comfortable bed, table for 2 and four large windows giving us a FANTASTIC view of the bay in three directions. At sunset everyone was out either walking on the expansive grounds, sitting on chairs outside their room or chalet or sitting on the benches. Nice easy trail down to some rocks at the shoreline. We felt as if we were at a resort because the setting is so comfortable and relaxing. There was a fire pit and BBQ facilities there. Even though you don’t realize it while on the property of Ocean View Motel & Chalets, you are very close (walking distance) to great restaurants. And a plus - you are right on the beautiful Cabot Trail and minutes from some of the most scenic spots along the trail! We wish we could have stayed longer because of the beautiful and relaxing setting !!

Beautiful oceanfront location within walking distance to restaurants, whale watching and other amenities. Checking a little slow but Yvette was so pleasant I didn’t really mind. The chalets were CLEAN. Spacious for two people. No barbecues we’re available in early June The only complaint the unit was hot and just a small fan provided. No wifi available during our stay but heck it’s rural Nova Scotia it can be spotty. Great music at the Doreyman across the street. Easy access to the national park. Make sure you visit Aucoin bakery just down the road. If you are planning on getting seafood you will have to resign to eating out. No cooking of seafood permitted in the unit.

We only stayed here for one night but had a good experience. The check in process was easy and the staff was very friendly. We stayed in a chalet which the decor was outdated but very clean. The bed was comfy but the views were spectacular. Overall, it was a good experience.

Yvette was lovely and the place was beautiful. Very clean and very comfortable. Quiet place and lots to offer in the local area. We will be booking again next season for sure. Thanks for having us! 🙂

Nous avons louer les chalet une chambre les plus pres de la mer .Chambre fermer salle de bain complete cuisine vue sur la mer pas de four mais poelle 2 rond petit frigo .Pas au gout du jour mais tres prope et superbe vu. Avons bien aimer.
