Good spot to stay, a lot to do close. Will was very helpful and really nice. There was plenty of parking right behind the building.

I vastly prefer a hostel to a hotel, even when it comes to a conference. So when my outdoor writer's conference had their event downtown I booked The Crash Pad. I got a mile-long ruck to and from the event every day, a solid sleep each night for far, far less money, and I meet a slew of interesting people which is part and parcel of hostel life. Crashpad is well-run, Will was able to let me in early from his remote location so that I didn't cook in the midday sun, and everything you need is right there. Good hostels are hard to find; this one has all the amenities. It's super clean, concerned about sustainability and even gives you ear plugs for those times when people are getting enthusiastic next door. I stayed in room J, a double bunk upstairs. Simple, spare, the only thing missing might be a chair, but otherwise a great stay.

I really enjoyed my stay. Common area was clean, Grounds were clean and set up pretty well, just wish there was more parking. It's in a great location. The young man at the front desk was very helpful and personable. I would certainly stay there again.

The accommodations were clean, the bed was comfortable, the service was great. The location is close to many restaurants, bars and within walking distance of all downtown Chattanooga locations. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I will stay here again.

My friend and I stayed here for a weekend trip to the city! The accommodations were fantastic, they had extra pillows and blankets which were great! It was clean, well kept, and felt very safe to leave our things while we explored the city. There was no sound from the outside at all, and they had the door electronically locked to get into the building, and into the sleeping area, which made us feel very secure especially with how busy the area seemed to get! The beds were comfy, obviously you aren’t paying for the fluffiest beds in the world, but for three nights it was just fine! We had one issue with the power in our bunks going out, but when we mentioned it to the guy at the front desk he immediately figured out the issue and fixed it for us! Overall, a wonderful stay and very nice accommodations, would definitely consider staying here again!

What a cool place! We originally booked 4 bunks on the first floor, but the AC went out. So Elliot at the front desk was so sweet and gave us two rooms upstairs instead where the AC was working great (and they insisted on refunding us some money!). The beds are super comfy, the place is nice and clean, the parking is free, and the location couldn't be better! Highly recommend the Crash Pad for an affordable place to stay in Chattanooga that is within walking distance to so many great restaurants!
