하얏트 하우스 - 샬럿 에어포트(Hyatt House Charlotte Airport)

I liked the hotel but the app messed up my pricing amount and the guy working is acting all funny now. Not cool

Somewhat dated appearance. Room was fairly clean but hallways were pretty gross. There was a packaged toothbrush in the bathroom which is convenient (but quite wasteful, hand them out on request), TWO lotions and no shampoo. Have to deduct another point there.. I was also blocked / double parked by semi truck delivering food and was late to a meeting.

1/9/24 I called ahead to be sure the shuttles from the airport were running. I was told they ran until 10pm. Made sure before I booked the hotel for my 70 year old mother who does not know how to use uber. Her flight was canceled and she was stranded at the airport. WITHOUT HER LUGGAGE. And she was alone.She arrived at the shuttle waiting area about 8:30pm. She waited until about 9pm and called me. After that point the hotel would not answer the phone. Finaly after 10pm the hotel answered. I said my mother is waiting in the snow for the shuttle and it never came. The women replied "we are booked" I let her know I already had a reservation online and gave her my name. She answered "we are booked" AND HUNG UP. Did she look up my name? They never answered the phone again. My mom was stranded at the airport and wasn't allowed back into the main waiting area where she could get food and sit somewhere more comfortable. At this point I called ******* to make sure I wasn't charged. ******* was adamant I had a reservation and that I could not be refused a room. ******* tried to call the hotel and again there was no answer. Even if they did...at this point there were no shuttles running. We had a reservation the entire time and one employee refused to help us. She would not answer the phone and when she did she refused to really look up my name or give any help at all. It was such a sickening and helpless feeling knowing my mother was stuck there cold, hungry and tired. Shame on you.

I booked and received a confirmation for a room on the top floor. When arrived at the hotel, the receptionist told me that there’s only one room available on the ground floor. It was obvious, looking from the outside, that many rooms on the upper floors were not occupied. The room assigned to me on the ground floor was very dirty, the sink was broken, the fridge was not cleaned as there were foods items left inside.

Everyone was so very nice and helpful and being able to leave our car while we were gone was great.

Shuttle hours useless; took forever and then heard driver tell staff that people at airport would just have to wait; hallways and other areas dirty with water leaks in several locations - room was dated but clean - no shower amenities like shampoo - terrible if you are staying because you got stuck at airport with no luggage -

The bed was clean and comfortable, but the facility is really beat up. Surprised Hyatt would have their name on this, even as a more affordable lodging. The staff was kings and friendly, but I would not stay there again. They really need to improve on keeping things wiped down.

Let me start with the unfriendlimess of the staff. No Hello, No welcome. I requested a 2 double bed room, and was given a king bed room. The Kitchen had absolutely nothing. May be 2 bowls and some small side plates. Carpet was old and smelly. The name Hyatt doesnt go with the hotel at all. The worst possible hotel ever. Neighborhood is aweful, didnt enjoy a bit. Anything you will request , they will tell you they dont have it. Try to avoid the hotel if you can.

The room was kinda nasty. There was leftover food in the fridge, not ours, and dishes left in dishwasher, dirty. And the service was horrific. Asked for a simple do not distrub sign and never got it.And while they have doors in several locations, the key fobs do not work so you always have to go up front to get in. Stay away!
