i have big problem with this hotel , location very bad , just walking long time , in safe place , small rooms , i didn’t stay i just see the room and not stay but they refuse to return back amy thing

I used the room precisely for 7 hours. In which I called for room freshener twice. The floor was damp and there was seepage. It was so horrible that we kept the door open all the time because as soon as we closed the door it smelled bad. This is when I paid more than 11,000 rupees (All advance) for these few hours. I feel cheated.

I have had dinner here a number of times- always unforgettable with impeccable service. This was my first stay. I work and stay in Delhi for about half the year, and love that this place is so close to my home/office in south delhi. Took a two night weekend break and am so glad I did. I stayed in room 106- just a lovely, spacious, more than well-appointed room. I loved the balcony overlooking the front alleyway- this morning a movie was being filmed there, which was great fun. The owner is renovating a second Haveli very close to this one- I want to be the first to stay! I booked a walking tour, and the guide they arranged was able to easily adapt to me! Haveli Dharampura exceeds expectations - a drop-dead gorgeous place located in the heart of busy Chandni Chowk. Arrive before dark, I would advise, but I actually arrived alone at 8 pm and the staff met me at a close-by point and shepherded me down the alleyway! Just a great experience-exceeded expectations in every way. Top notch.

Heritage of Delhi... Loved the place, great service, good level of detailing and good food. The walk thru those narrow lanes gives the vintage feel and once you step inside, the world comes to being quiet. Service - 5/5 cldnt have asked for better, served with a smile and grace and humility Ambience - 4/5 we did pretty good job at restoration and loved the paintings and old pics they had restored. Courtyard chairs could have been on the same lines but nevertheless. Food - 3/5 and don't get me wrong here it was delicious but then I think the food served there is a standard fare at all mughlai restaurants. There wasnt anything that you won't get another good rates restaurant and hence 3/5 ratings here. Special mention to our server Rajan Singh,loved your smile and patience to answer our questions.

I had contacted them through their website and wanted to visit for lunch with my family. The gentleman from their property called me up and said commercial photography isn’t allowed and only I can shoot via my mobile phone while I am at the hotel. Even after mentioning to them it will be for personal use and not commercial purposes. The person was very cold in his approach and it’s super hilarious and I haven’t faced something like this ever in today’s time. I can understand one may not be allowed to carry a tripod but why not a personal DSLR if he/she visits a restaurant or a hotel. I have widely traveled and stayed and used the most famous properties across the globe and never ever encountered something like this. They can even take an undertaking for the same for the same issue as most of the hotels are following it these days. Being an Indian citizen it’s super humiliating and embarrassing at the same time. I am so glad that I didn’t visit them and waste my time, money and energy. Humble request to you guys and travellers to make a note of it and hope you will find this review of mine useful.

We truly loved this place. It’s a hidden gem in Old Dheli. Service was amazing, employees were so nice, specially the manager. The room was very comfortable and we loved the rooftop view and activities. It was a great experience and we would love to returno

We booked this as a treat at the end of a golden triangle tour and it lived up to expectations. As mentioned in other reviews- you access the haveli through a couple of narrow lanes by foot- our tour driver phoned ahead and we were met at the car and then escorted and our luggage brought for us by the hotel team. The haveli is an oasis in a busy area that reflects old Delhi. Personally, as we had spent time in the three triangle cities we were used to Indian city life so weee not shocked by the general area and felt safer in the local streets than many we had been in before. The hotel is beautiful and the service was great- there is a general tip box which was a relief after negotiating the minefield of tipping what to who and when. The roof top area was a highlight and the rooms were all well- appointed with real character. So beautiful. We loved our stay and would recommend as a treat at the end rather than the beginning of a trip ( not sure other places could compare!)

This is a high tariff hotel so guest expectations are high. It’s very popular for lunch and evening dinner with outside tourists including larger groups. There is a set vegetarian/non veg option which attracts the groups. Al la carte is also available. Our advice is to reserve a specific table. The hotel is not currently using its advertised rooftop restaurant but some guests took sundowners here. We enjoyed the Indian high tea at 2,000 p/p. The dinner is well presented. It will cost approximately 4,000 -5,000 for a couple. We enjoyed the traditional music during dinner and the dancing which is a shorter performance than we expected, on the upper balcony and completed twice a night over the weekend. It’s in a prime location to experience Chandni Chowk, red fort, Jain temple and Jama Masijd. This is what you’re paying for. We took a guide initially and then dipped back in and out independently. We found it congested but safe. We enjoyed flying a kite one afternoon. The rooms are comfortable but the traditional music is constant from 7-10pm which can affect rest in the rooms. Bring ear plugs if this bothers you. We liked the room names linked to location and brief history. Photos displayed the renovation of the Havelli. The transfer is smooth if you are prepared to pay the higher price for a taxi at arrival and departure. Staff are amenable and servers are proud of their traditional dishes. The hair dryers need modernisation for speed and ease of use. We loved the recommended reading book in the room and will read and purchase once home. It’s a unique experience, stretching the budget depending on your view. Breakfast is adequate but doesn’t wow again for the price point.
