Calido Maris Hotel Ultra All Inclusive

Excellent service food was amazing cant believe how many people moaned I loved every meal, very clean, the staff are always there to help and nothing is to much trouble, the beach is stoney so take some beach shoes but the water is lovely, can't wait to come back

Hotel was dirty toilets over flowing covered in poo reception staff and management were rude unhelpful and disrespectful bar staff and entertainment staff were ace really friendly food was okay only 3 beds given for a family of 4 when complained said use foot stool as a bad shocking experience pool's were broken and dirty beach food was being eaten by birds stray cats all over hotel inside and out cleaning staff wasn't very good there's nothing near hotel taxis were expensive

AVOID UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR HOLIDAY RUINED!! Hotel itself was clean, most of the staff were friendly, food was pretty much inedible and caused food poisoning to 2 of our party meaning the last 3 days of holiday was spent in hotel room. The people who weren’t unwell didn’t not try variation of food/meat/fish. It’s a great shame as when this was escalated to management, I was point blank lied to, was informed that no one else complained and Treated with zero compassion. I found out this was definitely not the case after speaking with several other guests. Other guests were admitted to hospital for iv fluids, young children couldn’t get out of bed, one person in particular complained 3 times in 1 day. There is no responsibility taken by management from the hotel, they only care about the money not the impact on the guests. The animation team were great, lovely secluded location but the food massively let the hotel down, I wouldn’t go back even if it was free.

I have been to many hotels in turkey. I had very great experiences in many hotels but in calido maris it was one of the best. The service was very great many options and all you can drink. The food was excellent you have everything you ever wished for the room has one of the best hygiene and very exclusive. I was very pleased with the entertainment team and all the things you can do in calido. Thank you Fabio for the great time as an entertainer.

It was a terrible hotel, terrible staff. I hated how the staff treated us, we wanted to change rooms because of how bad the view was but they denied it with an extra cost multiple times, despite the hotel being empty. The wifi didn’t even work and the aircon would only work during the day, when it’s a 5* hotel I’d expect better. DO NOT GO!

The room we stayed in we had a sea view the balcony was quite small but the room overall was decent the beds were bery uncomfortable though the blanket was a small thin sheet. Plenty of sunbeds outside the pool was clean and the bars were okay no cocktails though unless you wanted to pay on our last day the barman did make us a cocktail. Close to the beach but very far away from anything so you had to taxi everywhere so the location wasn’t great. Food wasn’t too bad in the evening but the breakfast was not good and the evening snacks were bad

Positives, We found the hotel very appealing to look at Pool area always clean and staff work hard to keep it clean Hotel rooms cleaned every day if cleaning light is pushed on but not to a high standard for example, a few times our sink wasn't cleaned or the toilet, the floor wasn't swept or mopped some days. Toilets throughout the hotel always kept clean Lovely pool cold but lovely! Slides are good and also splash park for little ones. Negatives Reception staff we found to be rude especially to women Lobby bar served others before you (especially if you was an English woman) even though they seen you standing for a while Cocktails rubbish, was served in a plastic cup (other languages had theirs in glasses with fruit!) Evening mini disco for children was okay but then they'd spend and hour or so giving out tshirts to children who attended the club in the day (so boring for children who didn't attend) Food was rubbish Our family got sick whilst there If you didn't go to the entertainment at night there was nothing else to do in the other 2 bars, many people were making their own entertainment Woman are treated differently to men All in all we had a good time but wouldn't return!

I did the mistake of reading the reviews after booking so I was dreading it. But it shows not to take them too seriously as everyone has their own perception of a holiday. We had a fantastic 10 days at this hotel. There are good and bad things to it. Good: rooms were modern and clean and our maid although didn’t speak English was lovely and decorated our room for my birthday. Pool was clean and we didn’t get mithered by sales people from the spa unlike some other resorts. Bar staff work really hard. Reception staff are friendly, Reported the air conditioning not working and the toilet roll holder had fallen off. Within 5 mins they were there to fix it. The room we had was interconnecting which was fabulous with 2 older teenage boys. We booked excursions through the rep and the keep safari is a must but there are no animals on site but plenty of water fights and foam machines. Bad: food is very same same every night( they do have a panini maker outside of the buffet hall which saved breakfast and of an evening they do cook fresh meat out there too) the entertainment is dreadful and is located at the front of the hotel. Having read the reviews I took cards and travel games which kept us entertained. There are plenty of British people there and there are a lot of rude Germans, Turkish and Russians. I had a few run ins with them and they soon back down. The hotel is quite remote and there isn’t any nice walks. There is one market about 15 mins walk down the road.
