Fantastic boutique hotel. Alberto and Susana are wonderful and very helpful. Alberto greeted us when we arrived and spent a great deal of time mapping out areas for us to explore. The hotel was very, very comfortable and updated. We stayed 5 nights in a beautiful, large room on the second floor that had a balcony overlooking the street. The hotel is probably a 10-15 minute walk to the sites we wanted to see. However, this was not a problem because we love to walk and the area was quiet. Even the one morning it was rainy and we were going to Sao Bento (taking a train to Douro), we simply called an Uber - 3-4 Euros to go to the station. Alberto recommended a very nice coffee shop for breakfast about a 2 minute walk from the hotel. We would absolutely stay here again. It is an exceptional place.

Maison Cabral was my absolute favourite thing about my two night stay in Porto. Everything about it exceeded my expectations. The warm welcome from Susana (and Luchino!), the stunningly beautiful building, the super gorgeous room (Monica) with the view of the pool from large windows, a spacious bathroom, a compact kitchenette, a smart TV, lots of power sockets, comfy quality bedding etc. There was even a cute little bar area with drinks & snacks available to purchase. On top of which, the location was very walkable with so many attractions/things to do, eat & drink within 10-30 mins walk. Lots of restaurants, cafes, a park and even grocery mini markets (two Pingo Doces) very close by. It is a very residential area, very provincial and not very touristy at all. This meant I definitely stood out, however, this didn’t affect my safety. It was November so it got dark early, but I felt absolutely fine - as a solo woman - walking in the neighbourhood at night. I can’t say enough good things about Maison Cabral…Susanna and Alberto were extremely helpful and delightful and very proud of their hotel. They instantly make you feel very welcomed. You can tell a lot of pride goes into the running of the Maison Cabral. It is one of the best maintained hotels where I have stayed. It was very clean and in excellent shape and you could tell lot of thought went into the decorating of the rooms. Lastly, it was very convenient to the main attractions in Porto.

This hotel is incredible. Location, rooms, pool and to top it all off the very best customer service from Susanna and Alberto. We loved our stay and were treated so well in glorious surroundings. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. The hotel is quiet and very clean and in a great location for restaurants and bars. The honesty bar by the pool is such a great touch and certainly made our afternoons relaxing by the pool even better. Thank you!

A boutique hotel renovated from an old mansion. It's small (with only 8 rooms each with different style of deco) but if you like your hotel to be quaint and elegant, this is the place for you. Only a short walk from the Metro Line E (Lapa station). What sets Maison Cabral apart from other hotels in Porto is its staff. I couldn't say enough about how friendly, willing and help Susana and Roberto were during our visit. They really made us feel like home.

I had such a lovely stay at Maison Cabral and all down to Susana and Alberto. They made sure I in good hands from the moment I landed in Porto. Stunning room, excellent bed and really good shower. I will be back if only to see Susana & Alberto - I love them!!

Hostel was very pretty and super clean, the scent of the room was also good. And the owner, Susana was super nice and gave us warm welcoming and explained about Porto. Location was good as well to walk around the city. Only 10-15 mints by walk to the old town busy street.

Lovely welcoming staff that went above and beyond to make our trip to Porto good. Nice to spend time by the pool when taking time away from the city too.
